Grats to the kill.
Few things I don't understand:
1) Why did the mom warp to PLANETS? Didn't he have safespots in the system?
2) Why officer smartbombs but only t2 tank?
3) Why not cynoing out while not tackled but free in the system?
4) Where were the support ships of the mothership?
5) Why didn't come in help earlier? A call too late?
Indeed not a good start in 2008 for MM. Hope you guys will do better!

They are far too easy to kill though, believe me 
One mistake by the pilot (e.g. warping to planets or gates) and it is dead if you are setup right.

Nice kill guys, but I do think this guy only just bought it and hadn't come around to actually fitting it. If you look at the kills he made, the ones in Pertnineere are the only ones he killed with the Aeon, before that he was in different ships.

You know im not the kind of guy that whines on not fitting a full set of Deadspace hardners. It wont do a goddamn thing when youre under enough fire anyway. Officer Smartbombs are a must however, aswell as good cap recharging mods.
Why no escape cyno? Wont congratulate either party in this case

He couldve tanked double the amount he was with some proper deadspace gear. Also, drone control units? T2 cap rechargers? When i go down i at least want my mail to show that i had a clue what i was doing.

They arent postworthy if your 2k man alliance needs to drop 50 caps on one HOWEVER...
A bunch of people i've never heard of taking on a MM supercap (as MM are known to like big blobs of caps) killing it, getting said blob of caps dropped on them and then managing to get their dread out by staying in the fight is well worth a battle report id say.
props for the kill guys nicely done, even if battle report proves its still only stupid people losing them.

Obviously not... I also don't understand why he didn't make SS in warp and warp to those if he warped multiple times anyway.

Probably low on cap after jumping into the current system (must have been travelling ... takes a while to get cap back, also don't forget the warping).

Ye i agree its not news worthy of a mothership kill.
but this fight must have been epic for those involved and sounded like a blast of action.
those im glad i heard about it, and that the op gave a good run down of what happend.
it was a great story and the story gave me the insite and feeling of beeing in the fight.
