Dark Voice	Posted - 2008.01.18 15:01:00 - [1] My name is Dark Voice, and I am most obviously an alt. What I am doing here, today, is selling information. I have the following information for sale: The location of a System where three Ice Mining Corporations, plus numerous others, are mining ice using jetcans, with very little defensive capability. This information will include the particulars of some of the ships that they have at their disposal. As you can understand, a single jetcan of 10 Clear Icicle will garner more than 1mil ISK, and there are usually more than this in each can. This is an endevor for the entrepreneur, who recognizes his/her ability to make a lot of ISK, very quickly, by repeated theft of said Ice. On average, each day, the above mentioned Corporations have been seen with numerous (i.e. 3+) jetcans out, into which they are mining. You do the math. The price for this information is 25mil ISK, which can be deposited into my account, and I will return the information within 24 hours. If multiple parties deposit, I will be returning the amount from the later respondents, as this is a 'first come, first served' venture. Glane Sardar	Posted - 2008.01.18 18:23:00 - [4] Try Aakari, you will usually see 3 lots of npc isk farmers mining the top, bottom and central portions of the single ice belt, the players tend to be not near them common tactic is for all of the hulks to have their shield boosters running at the same time, almost as if they were using an automated script to help them :( Info given freely, if anyone wants to drop money in wallet, will not refuse :)

Adding to that, most can-flippers aren't looking for can-miners to steal their ore/ice/whatever, but to pick a fight. And believe me, finding can-miners isn't the problem, its getting them to attack you that usually presents the greatest challenge. And that challenge is quite often easier to overcome by simply shooting your can once you've whisked away their afternoon's profit. The sight of their efforts going up in smoke (or vapor as would be the case here) is more jarring to them than anything. In any case, information like the OP offers seems to be almost completely useless once you realize that any mining-op worth stealing from, can counter it in no time. If its a lucrative business stealing from these guys, then they are either a totally incompetent mining corp/op, who are bound to become extinct shortly after their first wardec, or they are part of a project where a thousand chimps played EVE for a thousand years, and some of them randomly ended up mining ice. OP - if your information is indeed valuable, keep it to yourself and exploit it to its fullest, and all the best to you. For anyone else it seems an investment bound to have less success than the above-mentioned chimp-project (patent pending btw - but I'll sell you the idea for 25 mil ISK). ----- In EVE - never bring a knife to a knife-fight.
