hi, just recently downloaded eve to play, i start it and i keep getting problems with it.
the screen goes all funny and graphics stuff up
or buttons go missing
or half the screen goes missing and it becomes technically impossible to play.
i have a macbook with 2GHz (core 2 duo), 2GB Ram and vs 10.4.11
is there anything i can do or is this a common problem.
i've tried playing multiple times but it happens every time and sometimes get so bad my mac freezes completely after a min of it and i have to restart it manually
any help would be much appreciated

I would delete all EVE files (CCP) files from the macbook.
do a fresh install of eve and also reset the pram or what ever its called on the macbook.
Also run the disk utility and run verify permissions as well as check disk.
Let me know how that goes

The MacBooks are not officially supported. If you look at the requirements it does not meet them although admittedly it is not specified very clearly. Although you may meet the minimum cpu requirements you do not meet the graphics requirements which state "ATI X1600 or NVidia 7300 GT or higher with 128 MB of Video RAM". Only the MacBook Pro's come with the ATI X1600. The MacBook's come with a Intel GMA X3100 graphics processor with the memory shared with the main memory. The people who have been able to get it to run on MacBooks also have problems with it overheating and freezing the computer after an extended amount of time.
So in summary, don't use a MacBook to play Eve.

Sorry to say that the Mavbook is not supported due to the 3d Drivers with the Intel graphics chips.
Some people have managed to get it going, but it has been very hit and miss.
You can get it working by running bootcamp and running EVE from that, but that is a work around to deal with the bad drivers.
