What would you recommend for popping those sheatshop lowsec courier runners? The ship must meet the following criteria: - able to kill the hauler - able to tank sentries while killing hauler (if necessary) - able to run away in case of danger
I tried some options: 1. Sniping tron Kills 1 hauler out of 3. If the indy has inertia stabs then it can't kill it
2. Phobos Too slow in some cases. Can't get away fast when ambushed.
3. Shield tanked nano arazu Currently this is my choice, but it can't tank sentries too long.

Usually you need more that 1 pt to warp scramble the hauler. Drake setup please?
Also keep in mind that the area is unsafe and your drake can be ambushed by 'anti-pirate' HAC or something.
In arazu I can just fly away before he gets a lock on me.

if for isk farmer staition camping stuff:
Dominix:
6x t2 med blasters
1x t2 sensor booster 2x t2 warp scrams (7.5km one) 2x large cap boosters (incase of some sort of emergency)
2x t2 LARs 1x t2 EANM 1x t2 DCU 3x t2 hardeners (exp, kin, therm)
rigs if you like: 1x nanobot accel 2x aux nano pump
drones fit as you like, these would only be used if your facing another combat ship, such as the civilian shield tanked raven fleet Sit by staition exit @ 0 and fire away, guarentee none of the haulers will get away, especially if they end up bouncing off of previously *planted* giant/huge/medium/small cans right infront of the exit by the dozen

BTW you are not permitted by CCP to do the can on undock trick, it's an offence that will get you in trouble.

If your Arazu works good at killing the haulers stick with it.
An armour tanking ship will be better at locking down the haulers solo, Mids for fast lock and disruptors and lows for tank and son on.

Passive tank Drake. Trust me... it works. I do it and pop haulers all the time and its good enough to stand up to a HAC in case you are ambushed.

mine can perma tank low sec centries and if it locks in time. pop any hauler. -

I used a moa, shield tanked exactly for that purpose. I wasn't able to perma tank back then (probably can now), but I got a few minutes whilst under sentry fire.
It fits all 3 criteria

Hmm , sniper mega works just fine for me... only misses when they have a shield tank , or spawn 200km+ away from me. Very efficient for station camping. You just need a good supply of spike for extended killing.
Smartbomb BS also work great at station undocks (only for some though) and let you pod the farmers and crush their shuttles / noobships / frigates. Pretty vulnerable though.
Otherwise , any sensor boosted BS can do the job. Abaddon and hyperion are better with their efficient sentry tanking. They usually tank long enough to deaggro when trouble comes.
Carriers can also smartbomb , tank sentries with their shield regen and jump out whenever a heavy dictor is too close for comfort. Also , farmers are far less likely to attack it.

They have started to think and most of haulers are Mammoth class with some MSEs and 2-3 Inertia Stabs. So my mega cannot kill it in one shot. Killmails usually show 4-5k damage done, so sniping and smartbombing is not an option.

I've had the best luck with a blasterhyp. Not only do I 1-volley most haulers, but that thing can tank in it's sleep.

park a neutron mega optimal distance from the undock point of a station with a sensor booster. Should do the trick.

Another one which works very well on stations that shoot you out past re-dock range when you undock is a smartbombing carrier

Scouts tend to jump in before the hauler
Also Doomsday devices tend to only work in 0.0

a sniper eagle worked fairly well for me, until i got ninja'd by an arazu
setup i used to use was a drake as has been suggested 7x heavy launchers 3xLSEII, 1xinvulII, 1x sensor boosterIIw/ locking script, 1x t2point, sprIIs in the lows and purger rigs.
unless the script has been changed, the macroers we used to kill just used t1 cargo expanders ______________

A former corpmate of mine swore by the Scorp for low sec solo hauler killing.
You have to armor tank it then use all those mids for insta locking (3x SB2 w/ scan res) and points (5x Warp Disr 2s)
