So there aren't any setups listed here, and i need advice.
Here's what i'm looking at doing with my currently limited skills for a helper in 0.0 gangs.
Hi: 3x Large 'Solace' Remote Reppers 2x Large Regard Energy Transfers Improved Cloak II
Mid: YT-8 Overcharged MWD Med Cap Booster II (800s)
Lo: Small Armor Rep II Energized Therm II 2x Nano II 1x Overdrive II
Rigs: 2x Targeting System Subcontroller I
With my skills it'll pull 2600 m/s, the transfers and reppers work out to 70km, and keeps signature res of 403mm. Although it's not NEARLY cap stable, if i have to use all the arrays all the time in a recon gang, i figure they're doing something very wrong.
Advice? has anyone used one of these before?

First, My advice would be to beef up a the armor amount. Put some plates and resists on the thing. Put some ECCM in the middle. The rest looks fine. The point is to utalize the guardians cap swap abilities to generate enough excess cap. You'll need another pal in a guardian but should work great. If you have extra isk, there are some implants that would help also.

This is a bit of topic but i was wondering how this cap swap thing works. Guardian 1 activates transfer and then guardian 2 does?? Or is there a trick with it? ----------------------------------------

Guardian 1 starts cap transfer to Gurdian 2. Guardian 2 starts cap transfer to Gurdian 1. This is what I call cap swap.
Since the guardian gets a bonus on cap requirments for cap tranfer arrays, each guardian gains about 50cap/s with max skills.
Note: that the basilisk has the same ability

Ok, so how about this, (assuming another guardian in fleet)
Same hi-slots except cloak I instead of Imp Cloak II (cpu contraints, bleh)
Mids YT-8 MWD Prototype Radar ECCM (Sensor strength up to 37)
Lo 800 RT plate Energized Therm II EANM II DCU II Nano II
Same rigs
Down to 1800 m/s, sensor res down to 338
I can see your point, now all i have to do is convince someone else to train for Guardian

Ya, that looks pretty good. If your going to gate camp, replace mwd with another ECCM. Just setup at optimal b4 fight begins.
Take out the nanofiber. It contradicts with adding the plate. Replace it with aother energized adaptive.
Fill the last hight slot with an auto targeter. Don't activate it though. Just having it on you ship will increase max num of targets.

I would never fit a MWD to a logistics, kills the cap way too badly.

For medium gangs you'll desperately need a MWD and an own tank. Downgrading to Medium Remote Reps does the trick very nicely here.

My wife flies one, she uses: 3 Remote reps, 2 Remote cap, cloak and the rest is almost dedicated to perma runing everyhting.
Since she is usually cloaked or warps in after fight commences, she can rep/cap and warp out if they get close or she starts taking to much damage.
I also see no point in tanking/nano the thing unless your roaming 0.0. If you get webbed and scrammed your dead anyhow even if your really tanked.
So you might as well equip to rep/cap as much as possible.

He was stating, that he want's to use it for supporting 0.0 gangs. This implicates roaming. For roaming you'll need a MWD or your dead in the first bubble-camp, without a chance.
Permarunning Large Rep Setups are for POS-bashing or doing camps on your own, but other then that, they're useless tbqh. .

id use guardian as adual pair, this works very well, both ships with identical setups....
[highs] 2 large cap transfers 4 x large armor reppers
[meds]
whatever wms and sensor booster - id fit
[lows]
1 x dmge control 2 x t2 med reppers rest fill with resists stuff
with atleast half good skills and putting cap transfers on eachother each guardian can perma run all remote reppers and local reppers and everything else :)

it's not cheap to execute since you pretty much need snakes to get a guardian to nano speeds, but once you do get it up past 4k, mmmm. mwd doesn't kill a logistics cap if you know how to fit a logistics, or were you hoping to get by on cap boosters?

that's for the rest of you. I appreciate all the feedback, and the helpful advice, especially those i'm responding to with seemingly negative connotations. Your suggestions were considered, and forced me to think of what the appropriate role for this ship, with me flying it would be in-gang. Many thanks.
