The +1 turret slot increase is good, that they don't get more PG/CPU ist hard (mostly for the Omen). I like the missile slot from the Omen (it still has it), but it was hardly usefull due CPU problems, with a turret more the problem still exists.
I would like to use quad light beams, the stats are good, but that they are BEAMS is really bad. That's the reason no one uses it, the range with Aurora is not very big (for a range weapon) it is like a focushed pulse with Scorch, but the tracking is horrible and range+tracking with gleam is... yeah...
Please change them to the pulse weapon category! The the 5th (turret) slot of an Omen might be finally usefull!! (still a little bit more CPU for the Omen would be nice)

RE: PG/CPU, expect that to be coming soon. I can't imagine they'd make major changes like that without taking a look at the fitting requirements for the new guns. So don't start worrying about fitting QLBs on your Omen until we see the final changes. Though QLBs (like all the "dual" weapons) suck, there are better reasons to worry about balancing them.

I thought for a long time that the QLB could need a cange to pulse, but I thought now might be the right time. :P
I don't think that CCP will add something to PG or CPU to both ships, because the Omen had already the laucher slot (so "5" weapons) and the zealot can know swap to 5 focused pulse (~same damage as now with heavy pulse) and same some PG to be able to fit the ship more balanced (was like 4 flying guns with a MWD)

I think that the bs dual lasers work fine, they provide a bs sized gun that is good for fending off smaller ships without the shorter range penalty of pulse.
I think the smaller lasers arent in line with the bs lasers though. The quad beams need some help as compared with the bs sized guns. THey should have around 15k optimal, with a 4k falloff.
Tachyon Optimal: 44 Falloff: 20
Mega Beam Optimal: 40 Falloff: 16 90% of tachyon optimal
Dual Beam: Optimal: 35 Falloff: 12 87.5% of Mega Beam optimal
Heavy Optimal: 20k Falloff: 8k
Medium Optimal: 17k Falloff: 6k 85% of heavy optimal
Quad Optimal: 8k Falloff: 1k 47% of Medium Optimal

5th turret on the zealot is fine and dandy. I can only barley fit 5 heavy beam II's along with a active harder tank with 4pg to spare.
problem is. not the 5th turret chews up cap like mad.
CCP add some more cap to the zealot and omen if your going to add stuff like that. lasers chew up cap like mad. -
At last the Gallente can finally lay claim to saying... "my DICtor" is bigger than yours.

I would fit focused pulse on the Zealot now => more damage as with the current 4 heavy pulse, but you still have enought PG for MWD, injector, repper and plate.
And on the Omen I would like to have Quad light PULSES

I've tested the Zealot with:
High: 5x HPL II Meds: MWD II, Warp Disruptor II, CapRecharger II Lows: MAR II, DCU II, Energized Thermic II, ANP II, 2x HS II, TE II Rigs: 2x CCC I
Fits with a 3% Imp for turret CPU and Cap is not too big of an issue imho.
Powergrid is not a problem, but CPU is tight as a virgin. Give it 20 more CPU so we're able to put a plate on it. Fitting FMPLs instead of the HPLs really don't lowers the CPU very much. .
CCP gave us shiny new graphics. Too bad they removed Anti Aliasing for me :\ |

As I said you ruin your setup...
You have no armor (HP buffer), and with cap recharger+ 2x CCC a bad & expensive cap recharge and low speed (heavy missiles will do damage) => no HP buffer, a single repper and not enough cap to run this for long => expensive death trap
So, I still don't think that a Zealot with 5 heavy pulses is overpowered (just fast dead) => ok
