Ballistic controls on a lazer gun space ship?! WTF?!?!?!

Where: Yrmori <---- Same as last week.
What: What's more fun than killing someone with a cruiser? Killing someone with a cruiser that has no business killing anyone!
T1 Cruisers with the dumbest fittings you can think of are the order of business this week. We urge you to ignore any bonuses your ship has and just fit for an LOL killmail.
Slap lazer guns on your lolicose, a cruise launcher on your omen. Give your hybrid turrets extra punching power with ballistic control units, and fill your hold with the most useless random crap you can find... perhaps even my frozen corpse???
BRING EWAR. Webs and scrams are needed. This is the one part that should not be LOL funny. People will run from us, if we can't lock them down we get no kills.
We'll begin forming the fleet at 1830. This is a suicide mission, so plan to die a horrible death somewhere out in 0.0. I recommend getting your ship nearby a day or more early.
Bring Friends! Anyone is welcome to join us... even AAA!
Prizes will be offered to the people who score KBs on anything we kill, based on the value of the kill. If we only get 1 or 2 kills, I'll be giving out huge bonus bounties on what we DO kill.
This event will be covered LIVE on Eve-Radio.
This week promises to be a good time. Alliances in the north typically crap themselves when they see us and call in cap ships. It seems everyone but INTERDICTION is afraid to lose even a single ship to us. But we're not afraid, oh noes. Better watch your fighters this week and leave your bubbles at home. We.... don't....run!

i worked out a fiendish plan for the comedy cruisers. in fact my scheme is so sinister and complex that i think i have to explain it in detail here, because when the proverbial p00p00 will finally hit the fan on thursday, im pretty sure Funky will be too busy watching all the pretty lights and explosions to actually grasp the whole genius behind my setup.
ok.. my first thought was... lets put a battleship sized MWD on a stabber.
turns out, it needs a pg rig and 3 RCUs to fit. which is about 50 mil.
but to be honest... oversized speedmods... we had that. its not a new or special idea or anything. i understand that.
whats new on my setup is the little extra length i went. i tried to gimp the ships capacitor enough, so i would NOT be able to actually USE the MWD at first i considered Cap fluxes, but that would require more pg rigs, so i just filled the medslots with MWDs. frigate sized ones. every extra mwd takes another 25% off the cap. perfect.
so i have one BIG mwd, that cost 50 mil to fit, which i cant use, not even for a single burst. it just doesnt ever go off. and then i have those small mwds, which will go off, but are to weak to actually do anyting noticeable.
but hey, a stabber is all about speed, and i got lots of speedmods.
now i only have to find something that fits in the highslots, with just 20 grid left or so  tbh i have some ideas, but i wont tell you all of my secret underground fitting lair tricks.

oh my god! i just discovered i need a medslot for tackling to qualify for scoring!
CRAP!
another 50 to 100 mil down the drain because i have to get a cap flux coil on there instead of an RCU

I will have to catch the next one, I have been out of town over a month, but this sounds like something I would be good at. (being counter productive) Every since I read this I have been brain storming. I could wreck a setup very easily, been doing it for over a year already. :)

Heh, sorry about that. We told them to stop firing but you know the guys that end up coming on these events.... they got excited and couldn't control themselves.

Thanks to SMASH for not bringing their cap fleet to deal with us.
Thomas, friendly fire doesn't count :P If I gave out prizes for friendly kills we wouldn't get more than 1 jump into 0.0.

That was me who laid the final blow on "friendly fire" however, he was a valid target, by the time i fired I stopped immediately, but looks like my missile got him.
I had the same thing happen to me before, the key is rejoin the fleet before you jump into the battle, because you show up on overview as a valid target and not part of the fleet.

That's not actually the name of the event, that's just me trying to be silly. But since nobody has ever heard of Acid Mothers Temple and the Melting Paraiso U.F.O, it wasn't really that funny.
