Currently the steps to use a jump clone are: 1. Right-click on ship 2. Select 'leave ship' 3. Open skill queue 4. Click 'pause' 5. Open character window 6. Open jump clone tab 7. Select clone 8. Click 'jump' 9. Go back to skill queue 10. Click 'Apply' 11. Open ship hangar 12. Board ship
Putting two buttons into the Jump Clone window that allow you to leave your ship and pause/restart your skill would significantly improve the user experience:
1. Open character window 2. Open jump clone tab 3. Click 'leave ship' 4. Click 'pause skill queue' 7. Select clone 8. Click 'jump' 9. Click 'apply skill queue' 10. Open ship hangar 12. Board ship
Sure, on paper it is only a step less. However all commands are issued through two areas as opposed to four. I'd suggest that this would be a lot more streamlined. |

How about 3,4 and 9 done automatically ?
You have to do that just by definition, so what's the point of having to make it separate clicks at all, new buttons or not ? CCP is unable to implement simpliest things. Like settting to hide signatures. So they sweep it under a rug . Children do that in their pre-shool years, CCP does it being adults. Probably because it is fearless enough. |

That's a good point. I'd argue that perhaps some intermediate steps are needed to make sure the user is certain they want to use their once in 24h clone jump. But that's easily done with a confirmation popup. So yeah, reduce the sequence down to:
1. Open character window 2. Open jump clone tab 3. Select clone 4. Click 'jump' 5. Click 'yes' in confirmation dialogue
System removes you from your ship, pauses your skill queue, jumps you into your new clone and restarts the skill queue.
6. Open ship hangar 7. Board ship

I have a better idea, make it so that it does all these things with ONE BUTTON and warning pop-up! Highjacking every thread possible in the campaign to END THE CLICK FEST and RUBBISH NAVIGATION in EvE. |

Yeah, that is how it should have been from the very beginning. Can't explain it in any other way but by famous CCP obsession to leave things half-done. CCP is unable to implement simpliest things. Like settting to hide signatures. So they sweep it under a rug . Children do that in their pre-shool years, CCP does it being adults. Probably because it is fearless enough. |

This, definitely. As people have said already, this is how it always should have been. Please do this CCP. (Yeah, I know I'm just restating what others have said, but I'm also bumping the thread through it too, since good threads tend to die a quiet death). |

I can give this a +1, though I normally just leave my skill queue and character sheet up so as to save time between steps of pausing the skill, jumping, contnuing the skill, it would be nice to have it all on one dialog, of course it would be nicer if the whole sequence happened on one click. |

There's no reason you should have to pause and restart your skills with you jump or plug in/remove implants. It's just tedious extra clicks and should be done automatically.
The same goes for leaving your ship prior to jumping. It's required, has to be done every time, so why not automate it and remove the clicks? |

You're bummed about 3 clicks that you have to make NO MORE OFTEN than once every 24 hours? Really, is 3 clicks what is killing you?
Sorry, but not worth Dev time. If you were allowed to use JCs more often than once a day, than perhaps. However, I think that 3 extra clicks is not a big deal and we should focus on more important issues. |

Actually it is 12 clicks in several windows. While it is true that you can only clone jump once in 24 hours, some players (like me) might go through the process every time they log on. I consider this one of those little things that has a big, negative impact on the user experience, undermines quality of the game and should therefore be on the list of many, many little things to fix in the course of the quest for ExcellenceGäó. Your opinion may differ, and that is of course your right. |

Don't forget having to pause and restart your skill queue when plugging in implants.
This is one of those "little things" that CCP could devote just a little dev time to each one and end up cutting out quite a lot of annoying clicks.
Here's another thing: After almost two years in the game, I finally learned how to look up the war status of other corporations. Someone else said it took him a similar amount of time to find out about this feature. Why not just put that in the info window of the corp/alliance? Shouldn't a potential recruit be able to easily view the war status of a corporation without having to know of a completely different location for that information?
If something is made available in game, it should be easy to find and put in a logical place. Why should I have to search for a corp in two different search locations in order to get its info and its war status?
It's that kind of stuff that makes Eve user UNfriendly without actually adding any complexity or depth to the game. |
