The Trivenerate is currently in the preliminary stages of creating a new bond, and we've seen what is available currently. We have no doubt we can offer a reasonable return on a regular basis, but we have several questions that can really only be answered by the public.
1. How long of an investment are you looking for? 3 months, 6, a year?
2. What type of return would you demand from that bond? (According to maturity length of investment)
3. What would you need to see (or would require) in order to invest?
I ask these things as I read Haxxx's IPO/Bond templates and various other INCREDIBLY useful information from the 'must read' section, but even using those methods of consumer confidence, Hanoi Hanna made off with ALOT of investor money (I'm assuming here...). I did notice some discrepancies in her explanations, but as we all know, it's buyer beware. Feel free to bring in other points that have correlation to these questions, as we can use all the opinions we can get.
Thanks for your help in our efforts to make a successful product.

1) with the current glut of capital, the longer the better 2) 7% for anything longterm and 10% for anything short-term which I would define short as 90 days or less 3) A) security either in the form of the offerer not being able to steal the ISK, assets held by a 3rd party or being a respected and trusted individual B) if the offerer isn't a well known businessman then we'll want to see a decent business plan

We wish to involve younger players, as well which we were moderately successful this last time, is there a minimum investment time you would wish to see?
Quote: 2) 7% for anything longterm and 10% for anything short-term which I would define short as 90 days or less
Fair enough. What kind of dividends do you think would be fair? (I guess I should have raised that initially)
Quote: 3) A) security either in the form of the offerer not being able to steal the ISK, assets held by a 3rd party or being a respected and trusted individual B) if the offerer isn't a well known businessman then we'll want to see a decent business plan
My problem with handing over the isk to a 3rd party is two-fold: 1) Who in this world will be a trusted source by all parties involved? If no institution is above reproach (myself included) then where's the safety net? 2) Availability of funds. If I should be required to submit a request for funds, I could lose potential profit in the time trying to access said funds. Time spent waiting would be money lost.
Thank you for your response. Much appreciated. But why only one? We are open to whatever comments you may have.

Edited by: Karanth on 06/02/2008 08:37:37 For newer players, shorter terms would be better, I think. I was always keeping money mobile in my earlier days, and unless something has changed, what with all of the fancy new* toys available, not locking up cash for long terms will be a good thing.
*to them.
EDIT: Even 5% isn't so bad, over a few days or maybe a couple weeks, I think. But then, my threshold for happiness has been a bit lower than others.
All that's left...

3 months, 7%+, A decently laid plan.
That would perk my interest enough for me to consider investing. I am actively looking for multiple smaller investments and I like what I've seen from you guys so far (at only a cusory glance and responses so far).
