Edited by: Taldarin on 05/02/2008 10:55:24 Hi,
I have just imported a test video from EVE using fraps. My res is 1680x1050 (only res my 22''wide will look good on) and FPS set o 30. I have followed the steps and encode orders from the vid in the sticky here 'EVE_TUT_WMM_1.mkv'.
Just wondering if anyone could tell me why it is coming up all green tint and a little dull like? I think I have some code issues, or there might be special steps I need to take using such high res. If anyone has had this issue and knows how to fix it, let me know. I am keen to start putting up some of my recent kills including Paladin and a lot of the new stuff that came with Trinity :)
EDIT: Thought I would mention I am using Windows Movie maker to create these movies, and the Windows Media Encoder to Encode them. Thanks,
Joe.

Taldarin,
I ran many tests before I created the tutorial and have done the same again this evening and can find none of the things you are describing, using the resolution you are using.
I take it your original Fraps files are ok?

Edited by: Taldarin on 06/02/2008 04:01:36 Hey, cheers for the reply.
Yes, the original Fraps file I used works fine, and looks OK... However when I view it raw it's somewhat pixilated and often hard for me to read text. It's no no way as clear as when I am playing in game.

The green tint might be related to your video overlay settings. Try resetting the video overlay settings in the control panel for your graphics card. [/url] |

If the video isn't clear, are you sure you're recording in full size and not half size?

It is in full size. I have checked my nvid settings (8800GT) and updated graphics drivers, still seam to have this problem. I think I might just have to put my raw data onto external drive and use a friends computer to edit... but that will be anoying as he is eve freak also "dude... how much longer... we got contracts n shut!"

The wuv you spread is gold. -Capsicum |
