It was an average Monday afternoon in the wormhole. Sleeper runs, Planetary management, Orcas and Geddy's warping in and out. Nothing out of the usual. Little did they know...
Okay, I will spare you the melodramatic epic story and give you the facts. I am Qualmar. I joined eve and created this first and only account on 2011.01.17 04:40:00. I have 8.5 million skill points, and am well aware of the fact that I am a total noob when it comes to the Eve universe. Eve appealed to me because of the sandbox atmosphere. The metagaming aspect of it was right down my ally, so I had to subscribe. Once I started to learn the game mechanics, I discovered that with enough wits, anything can be accomplished. Above all though, my main reason for joining was the pirate life.
I joined miari yume seven months ago in hopes of looting them. Several weeks ago I was given starbase config role which includes hanger access, ships hanger access, lab access, and password control as well as offlineing anything I please.
Intelligence extraction is not something you can simply train to 5 in 21 days. That's something that carries on with you for the rest of your life. I have honest to god looked straight into the eyes of another human being and said "no sir, I haven't been drinking" Corp infiltration is a dirty business because whether you like it or not, they have become your friends. To back stab them is cruel and sickening...however its only a game :]
Originally we were going to execute the heist during the superbowl (what better way to logon during halftime and see everything is gone), however this corp in particular had active players from EU, UK, all time zones of united states, and a couple members in australia. From my understanding, most anyone out of the US doesn't give two sh1ts about the superbowl. Basically our window opportunities were limited and we couldn't wait around any longer looking at all the potential isk. Our patience grew thin so we set another date.
Monday was it then. The corp director was ALWAYS in the pos, and my intel stated that he had a 3 hour class at 6:00 PM central. Once he was gone though, another member still sat idling in the pos.
"Lets just do this man, hopefully he's afk"
I changed the forcefield password and his ship jumped 200 kms from the pos. Automatically everyone warps in. Ships are being transfered, mods and valuable items are being put into cans, we brought an orca so we could fit 4 cruisers at a time. The corp member in the geddy who flew 200 kms away started blowing up in corp chat. The CEO was online but not in the wormhole and he immediately started heading towards the nearest wh exit.
He messaged one of my pirate friends, asking him "how are you doing this?" in which his reply was "YARRRRRR!!"
He thought they were using an exploit, cheat or hack. It never occurred to them that corp infiltration was possible. For about 7 to 10 minutes, I still had my corp roles till he realized that I didn't exit the wormhole
We had a pos set up out of scan range and kept moving everything there. Everything was going well. Just when we thought things couldn't get any better, a corp member logged on with an orca and warped right on top of us. We engaged the orca, and he ejected into a loki he had in his cargo and warped away.
We left nothing but a shuttle in their hanger titled as "Qualmars Shuttle"
Once we got everything to the pos, I took an abaddon and left the wh. Once i got to the other side, the mercs had arrived. I was never part of the fight, i quietly sat in station and had nice little chats with the merc negotiators. They wanted 1.3 bil to leave us alone. We lol'd
Normally, if the mercs knew how to play diplomat correctly, they probably might have gotten away with at least a little isk, however when it comes to psychological warfare, its tough to play ball with pirates. They might have known how to shoot, but they couldn't talk. And in eve, talk is everything.
After putting up a fight and inviting reinforcements, they happily retreated. The entire operation went from 7 PM est, to 3 am est.
Here are the screenshot's you all desperately desire.
Misc
Mods
Drones/Ammo
Blueprints
Ships
My ship and I
We all had dibs on different ships. I took the abaddon, someone else took the orca I mentioned earlier. Total it was roughly 5 or 6 bill. I got a cut of 1.25 bil.
Yar.
PS: My new corp told me during the heist "You know qualmar...you are nothing in eve without your friends." And he was right.
So for all you moles out there...NEVER. EVER SCREW OVER YOUR FRIENDS

For the record - our total haul was 7 bil. Also, Qualmar left out some important details that I feel as Director of Breaking Point need to be addressed.
1. When the CEO of our victims... er... business colleuges... warped in, we proceeded to defend our rightfully stolen merchandise. They lost an Caracal (http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/killmail.php?id=15192844), Armageddon (http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/killmail.php?id=15193577) and Cheetah (http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/killmail.php?id=15193573). Please note: we had brought covert ops ships only. This means we used their own ships against them.
2. When the mercs arrived, we decided to test their mettle in battle. We lost a stolen Hurricane and stolen Anathema. We learned that the mercs hired didn't really know how to fight (how a single hurricane with half armor almost killed an oracle before 4 BS and 3 BC could kill it I will never know). But, we knew we were outnumbered.
3. We felt confident that we could extract our merchandise with careful movements, but I have a friend in Moar Tears. I gave them call and they happily agreed to fly in. Needless to say, but I'm going to say it anyway, Moar Tears know a good deal more than the "mercs" trying to camp us. A fleet of 20 people quickly scattered the 11 camping us.

Payout was a tad low for a wormhole corp heist, but the interesting story made up for it. |

Man, it doesn't matter if you stole a supercap or blew up someone's mining cruiser. If it hurt them, you're doing God's work. Don't let anyone tell you the payout was small. That was a fine piece of art you made there, and the money is only for financing future projects anyways.
Excellent work.
If you're ever looking for a home, hit me up. |

One thing I have learnt in my time as a professional corp thief is that tears are your best reward, but they dry fast. Most people get over even the worst of thefts and will be back on their feet in no time. If you truly want to hurt someone you need to be in it for the long haul, and that means alts, infiltration and repeated thefts over and over until everyone in their corp and alliance gets sick and tired of having to protect everything and suspect everyone. Only when they are isolated of friends can you truly hurt them.
Those final tears as they scream out in anger and no one is there to hear them, those tears and the sweetest.

So you have stolen only 5-6 Bil worth of cargo and ships form WH ppl, where you could earn same moneys in 10 days by killing Sleeps and mining gases... without loosing your good names.
I would say: Idiots. |

Who cares if the payout was on the small side. It sounds like they had a great time doing the heist.....
