Also- "Small Gang PvP" is whatever me and 5-9 of my friends manage to kill. After the first few kills it typically swells to me 5-19 of my friends, and after our first proper fleet fight, its about 40. I mean- its not like I'm going to tell my space-friends "No, I do not want your assistance in destroying hostile space ships while shitting up comms in Mumble; go run Incursions or something until we need you (60 jumps away)" Yea gangs do tend to grow when fights ensue.
I love the reaction we elicit from people, with our actions and all the vitriol. The hate mail, is a sight to behold.

I mean, after all, you're Negative Ten. you guys think small-gang PVP is 40:1 odds on a pipe.....
ITT: Dumb pubbie thinks that all of New Eden is Empire. More at 11! Also- Confirming that dodging low sec gate camps is impossible, despite reputation. Mag's I think we have a genuine case of someone that made it to the gate and ::suddenly smartbomb:: .
Wait low sec gate camps exit? Then again my friend said she had to spend about 130 jumps in a pod just though null just trying to get back into high sec because the bubbled exits out of null

Except she managed to escape still. Over no implants too. She cited she didnt feel like paying 17million isk for a new clone though.

Bounce off a celestial... or search for someone that sells Nullsec Entrance system off grid perches... its seriously not hard to jump a CovOps into Null entrance systems, make some bookmarks, and never worry about bubble camps again. With some time and practice, its simple to evade even the best camps.
130 jumps? I think I would have just self destructed instead... Pipes are often camped more often then the actual entrance systems, and typically by people who actually know what they are doing. The routes through Low Sec are usually pretty empty and 'safe'. Inappropriate signature removed. Navigator. |

Well don't look at me, I have presetup my fox hole game so any and every 'choke' point out of null I can get around with off aligned bookmarks. She hasn't had the time to do that yet.
I asked her why, and she said it was over principals why give the enemy an easy kill? Be that one fish that got away.

Yeah, I'm in the 17m ISK Medical Clone crowd as well.. I think I have about 40 pod losses to blues, because 2 minutes is a long time when you have stuff to do on the other side of a jump bridge network. I probably SD +4's twice a week.. at least (I'm on the downhill slope of my 2nd Carrier V).
But 17m or 130 jumps... I think I could go clear 3 belts and make close to that... in far, far, far less time. *shrug* Then again there's probably worlds of difference between someone like me who jumps a T3 into 15 T1 Cruisers all :nofux: engaged, then someone wanting to save 20m or so and not wanting to give up a killmail *shrug* Inappropriate signature removed. CCP needs to introduce two new skills
1 reduces jump clone time 2 reduces clone prices.

45 mill clone here. But even with +4's, I would have SD'd.

I don't make alot of isk these days though, I mean I seriously suck at pve to the point I am losing 'unlosable' pve ships every month in this game, the disconnect while scrammed and come back to a pod when I log back in being the largest bane of them.
PVP is a waste of money on my end as well. So I just market around and try to secure my corner of the market since that doenst involve money loss when I disconnect.

easy does it, sweet cheeks <3. the skiff in case you don't know is used to mine Mercoxit, which happens to be the ore to get Morphite from. The only ore at that , too. so go mine a whole carrier load of mercoxit and go refine it and sell it and when you make close to a billion isk from it, just smile and tell me you love me, babycakes!!!!! of course, you probably make a billion selling your wares off any way |

Dear CCP,
Make every miner's dream come true. Make a covert ops exhumer with one exception: make it capable of mining while cloaked.
"Think Big or stay the hell home!!!". Let's start thinking of some real serious wild stuff CCP. I know my pretty sexy behind would be mining in it. |

I would love a cov ops exhumer, but if it only has 1 strip miner like the procurer it best have some stupidly large mining amount bonus...or a much much faster cycle time.

No but really wouldn't it be awesome if we had a Procurer that could fit a Covert Ops cloak? Maybe then people would use it more than never. Not to mention it would make the whole profession more fun and risky :D
Just mine in a covetor, you can get ganked 20 times before you lost a hulk in ISK, all for 2/3 of the yield.

Don't actually do this, mercoxit is less isk/h and other high end ores. People gunmine it in the drone regions.

A have a brilliant idea: A covert ops exhumer, except that it's cloak module consumes ore while running. And the cloak consumes ore faster than the strip miners' yield. Unless you drop the cloak and fit another strip miner in the last slot.

That's what they do.
Then they get turned into minerals! A vote for Akirei is a vote for Awesome! |
