I scooped up a corpse in an effort to keep the space lanes clean, when I saw that you can sell them. However It said it needed to be repackaged, but the station didn't give the option to do that.
Is there a specific station for that to be done or a skill?

Right-click on item once it is in your hanger and click on the repackage option.
Never played with any corpses so can't add anything constructive.

Try shipping it to a Sukuuvestaa station, they have been known in the past of using refuse and biowaste in thier Protein Delicacies.
That was just a joke (the fact that Sukuuvestaa would buy it was a joke, not the bit about Protein Delicacies), but some people are willing to buy a corpse depending on who's corpse it is.

As far as I know you cannot repackage a corpse. You can only sell them to collectors. Personally I'd just keep it unless you can get a sizable sum for it. Suposedly one of the future tech levels will include biomass as a component or something. Guess it means player made clones or something of that sort.

Biomass will be needed on the new tech 3 level ships
we are researching our multi layered bio membrane hulls and aleady over come certain limitations that we have found morphite composite alloy tech 2 hulls
