The only part in contract system I find scamming/abusive is writing: <Ship type, rigs not on ship> and then them being on ship, but a good tip is don't accept couriers.

You accepted a courier and paid the 150M collateral....
Then you looked at where it was supposed to go, and you decided it was too much work, so you decided to dump it in a sewer.
But then you decided that was too much work too, so you decided to burn it and say you dumped it in a sewer....

Number one, you weren't scammed. Someone offered a high paying (I assume) courier contract to low-sec with a high collateral. It was high paying, with a high collateral because its risky to haul things into low-sec.
You should check this before accepting a contract. You then trashed the guys item that he wanted hauled. The reason for collateral is so the person you are hauling for isn't out the isk for the item he wanted to haul should someone fail to deliver.
When you trashed his item, that means he gets the collateral.
And now that you destroyed someone else's stuff, you want the money back? Please.
A courier SCAM would be a high collateral mission requiring you to dock at an outpost in 0.0 that you don't have standings to dock at. Its not a scam to have a courier contract whose drop off location is an NPC station in low-sec, bud.
