Edited by: Mnemonym on 28/02/2008 12:04:53 Edited by: Mnemonym on 28/02/2008 11:55:38 Attention All Mission Runners:
I would like to offer you a service for which you may or may not have a use!
I would like to clean up your area of space and even pay YOU for the priviledge. As you may well be aware many people run level 3 and 4 missions for ISK and LP in the process they leave rather a mess in space of a considerable number of wrecks, I would like to remove this blight on our spacescape.
I will pay you a 10% finders fee* made direct to your account, for which you dont even need to give me details for, and no records will be kept.
This service is intended to give you an increased mission completion rate, which in turn will increase both your ISK and LP per hour rates.
Now you no longer need to sully your hulls with space trash.
Please contact Mnemonym via evemail if you wish to make use of this service.
Just to elaborate, business will be conducted via dropped bookmark containers and wired money transfers. I wont be following you on your missions
*10% finders fee will be based on 10% market value of any SALVAGE collected. Any other trash collected will not be included as it shall be taken at my own risk, I'd rather not be blown out of space by my customers.
At the moment this service is limited to 0.5 sec status systems and above.
I'm currently based in the Domain Region but can relocate if sufficent salvage is to be collected.
Terms and Conditions apply, please ask for details of the small print.
atm I shall be trading as "Sole Trader" if Business is sufficient I shall extend my operations and may require additional resources in the form of personnel but at the moment I'm not accepting applications.
Operating Times are generally 6pm onwards GMT

This would definitely be something that I'd be willing to go for. As a matter of fact, for someone new getting into the game, I'd be willing to front money to get someone started in this (though i would expect higher payouts until my investment was paid off).
At the moment however, I'm not playing often enough to pay well for someone to do this and make decent money off of. However, if a time comes up in the future that I'm on more often, I'll definitely give you a mail (I work in the Sing Liason region, operating out of auvernge atm).

P.S. Shameless bump for a great business idea

Interesting idea. Personally, I'd rather run an alt account as a cleanup character, but for anyone who doesn't feel like doing that and can't be bothered salvaging their own junk this seems a pretty good idea - getting 10% of a lot is much better than keeping 100% of nothing :)
The only problem I can see is if you're trying to do this in busy areas, you'll still have to deal with salvage thieves - except that now you're not even getting the mission rewards themselves to compensate for the "lost" salvage...

Cheers for the vote of confidence, regards time involvement, if you do 3-4 missons back to back at level 4, then its worth my time to travel to you to salvage.
Regards Salvage thieves, I'm only paying out 10% of the salvage I COLLECT, lost a few ships last night due to timeouts wrecks only last 2 hours so I gotta be fast.
I'm also not too concerned with salvage thieves as I'll be in a dedicated ship with extra expense dedicated to salvaging quickly (along with associated skills)

I usully only play on the weekends, and I run missions out of Isenairos and Motsu. Usually grind for full day or so with corp mates. I'm far too lazy to dual account, so if your interested, drop me an evemail.

I could see this as being a fine thing, why not?
Good for you, and I hope you get lots of business.
If I'm going to leave my wrecks then why not get back 10%?
And plenty of people do leave them, but then even so it is always fun to interact with others this way. *** |

If you want to get a lot more responses, do what I do....i give the customer 50% of the salvage to do with what they like.
I gain 50% that I wouldnt get otherwise and they can sell their shares off or I make riggs for them..either way, business is good.
Originally by: GM Faolchu It is within the rules of the game for someone to enter your mission and steal the loot/salvage.

Like I said in the last one of these you posted, can I sell you other peoples missions ?
Originally by: GM Faolchu People salvaging your missions npcs or the player you just blew up are doing nothing wrong.
