i was wondering how to find them now.
i know how to do exploration and assummed unknowns were complexs, but they never yield anything good, so im thinking not.
has it got anything to do with the anoymillies scanner.
p.s im talking about the ones tht give the uber l00tage

Standard exploration methods is how you find the plexes.
First you need good 0.0 access, more than 2 constellations.
Second you need good support. The high end plexes require you to go in with 3 or 4 BSs with a strong logistical setup. The highest end escalations where you are taking on 23rd tier overseers with support can require capital ships as hitting the wrong trigger can cause enough reinforcement spawns that even a dual logistics ship and BS tank setup can get shredded when agro gets spread out.
Cosmic Signatures are the only thing you should be scanning for and unknowns are the plexes. Anything with a sig under .02 is "good" but it can take hours to finally get one of these sites probed down.
At the end of the day I have to say, if you need to ask you aren't ready. Try some low sec plexes to get a taste of what you will be running into and join up with an established 0.0 alliance that engages in exploration if you can. What you need is some first hand experience with people in the know otherwise you can expect to be losing many many ships.

you assume im a nub, i did radar plexs to support piracy in low sec (i also know if i took your advice and went there i'd be dead within a cpl of hours).
i was only asking because we are using 3 bs's, spider tanking, and find the rewards very low, and the dmg being given very low as well.

First off, complexes can be very hit or miss. Most sites you find will be 7/10 or equivelent, and will generally offer low rewards, or at best a single faction ship at the end which may/may not drop something nice. That said, all (or nearly all) complexes offer a chance of escalation, and its the escalations that are likely to bring in the big money.
You may well have got unlucky and had no escalations, but keep at it, and will get lucky sooner or later. Keep scanning, and will soon find either higher grade sites (which also take longer to probe out), or will hit an escalation with a nice reward at the end.

A corpmate of mine found an 8/10 complex in our home system two nights ago. Three of us ran it in a nighthawk, raven, and sleipnir, and we got exactly jack for loot aside from some overseer's effects. It was exceedingly underwhelming.
I think CCP may have nerfed complexes too far, since that most definitely was not worth the time we spent on it. We could've made more ISK belt-ratting (in Tribute, with crappy spawns!) in the time it took to scan it out and complete it. -Wrayeth n00b Extraordinaire "Look, pa! as the bandit said - if you have to ask, your not ready. despite what you say.
scanned combat sites either offer decent loot - or not, dependant on your roll.
DED plexes which can be scanned down now since they were removed from static offer the best chance of loot but are very rare in 0.0, dependant on how many systems your corp/alliance holds (i.e. larger space = more chance based on more systems for them to spawn in).
the fact you have to ask if u can get them on your ship scanner indicates that you havent a clue.
You find anomalies on ship scanner which have a VERY low chance to escalation to an EVEN LOWER chance of DED plex. otherwise its just an expedition!
