Rather specific question isn't it? I would EFT but I don't have it atm and don't want it for one question.
The reason I ask is because I've noticed in a bit of high sec where my mission runner is (not this char), there's a static 1/10 which is being afk farmed by one chap using two chars, one in what looks to be a passive Worm and the other an armour Ishkur.
Now, obviously a BC is the defacto norm for high sec ganking these days with a Thrasher following up as second choice, however, it being a 1/10 those options aren't available.
I'm thinking Rifter with gyros in lows is the only option, but is it viable?
Would a rifter output enough alpha to one shot an armour tanked Ishkur or a passive Worm?
Pre-thanks for you input. |

A rifter definitely is a no. A thrasher with two gyros, damage rigs, 280mm and quake would get a 2k alpha. You'd still need 2-3 salvoes on the Ishkur though. |

Hurghk.
Thought as much.
Seems there are places in high-sec where you can be fairly safe with very little risk then
Cheers anyway fellas. |

Yes yes, of course there's the powers in numbers bit, but this was only a whimsical thought to possibly upset someone.
It really wouldn't be worth the time and effortto make a proper operation out of it.
FWIW, it's a 1/10 Serpentis Drug Outlet over in Annelle (In Verge Vendor) if anyone *really* wants a crack said farmer. |

Well he doesn't sit there all day does he?
He has to dock somewhen, find out where, wait until he undocks? or am I wrong |

Well, by the looks of it, yes he does.
He was there around 12pm GMT (and had been there a while due to wrecks and respawning NPC's), I checked at 13:30, 16:30, 18:ish when I posted this thread, and was still there at 21:00 GMT which was the last time I checked.
Tbh, it's quite odd, as the site mostly drops Coreli C-Type plating, which is worth bugger all (~1 mil). |

Bump him repeatedly?
Go in a 'defenceless' ship and start loot/salvaging all his wrecks, see if he aggros.
Passive targetter + ship scanner -> there may be a glaring resist hole or failfit you can exploit.
Get on after DT before him and pop him at the accel gate with an artythrasher or something.
Fit a sniper rail harpy or something and repeatedly snipe his targets.

Well you could just wait for respawn and kill the important targets before him, but that doesn't really help you as he won't notice and he'll just lose on a single cycle of loot.
edit: could you suicide his drones one by one? He would be somewhat sad then realizing he's been doing nothing all day. Possibly look into neuting the armor ishkur. If you can get the rep to turn off it shouldn't turn itself back on unless he comes back from being AFK. At that point you could come back and pop it in a few trips or let the NPCs whittle it down. |
