Hey all, I know there's the sticky post here with all kinds of agent info and links to agent finders, but so far I have not been able to find the one feature that I need in an agent finder: the ability to search within a radius of a certain system. Searching within a region is just not as useful as it sounds. A region can be 10 or more jumps "wide" and I don't care about agents that far away. I'd much rather cross a region boundary to get to a similar agent 4 jumps away.
The best online agent finder I've found is eve-agents.com, but it doesn't allow you to enter what system you're based in, your standing with a corp, and it doesn't tell you how far away the agents are.
I started playing EVE about 2.5 years ago and then went inactive for a while. I seem to recall there being some Windows application at that time that had an agent search function in it. It was great. It could search any which way I wanted for agents and it was aware of my standings. And it was also a skill planner/scheduler. I downloaded EVEMon hoping that it was the app that I remember using, but alas it isn't. While fine for skill planning, there's no agent search. I prefer a desktop applications to a web applications as they tend to be more powerful.
Anyone know of this mythical desktop app? Or am I just romanticizing the past?

Grimar's EVE Explorer can sort by the # of jumps from a given system. * * * In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

What they said ^^.
And in case you can't find it, it's here.
You can put in your current system and sort by jumps from that system. Whilst filtering for agent faction, type, level, quality, hair colour, sexual preference, etc.

Oh, i actually saw that one. But was scared off by the interface. I missed the "#Jumps" button. I guess it'll have to do.

It's not as fluffy and sparkley as some of the other resources, but it makes up for it in pure unfettered awesomeness. * * * In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
