Another weak accusation from the normal drama bomb merchants against BOB without realizing that RA actually did exactly this thing with the DT bug several times and were the first in eve to use it.
Another defence from the usual pathetic alts.

Anhela, you are one tickly pubehair away from calling me a dev. I am merely speculating based on the most basic and common knowledge, to explain why some people get kicked before others. If people could log back after being kicked, that almost confirms it. You'd most likely reconnect through whichever proxy servers are still up. If I am correct, this is not new. Your own alliance obviously knew about it.
The fact though, is that some of you rely on the imprecise downtime mechanic to marginalize your capital losses consistently. This time you got burned, but it doesn't even make up for all the ships you would have lost if you had to create your own exit strategy like everyone else.
nync is supposed to be old and experienced enough to know the risks. If he made the decision to rely on the server to save his fleet - and it didn't - he should take responsibility for defeat then move on to the next battle. Implying foul play atop a high horse with gimp legs is so 2007. _______________________________ http://epicwords.net/ |

Oh hey, look at that. I DID warp out in my cruiser. As you can see, here is my wreck, 350-360km off the fight where the titans DDed. Because I warped out, but got killed by the 250km DD anyway.
Heres some more candid camera snaps!
Me getting killed by invisible spaceships (after 1.75hrs of *not* loading grid, and taking only ~220 damage):

Me getting killed by more invisible spaceships, without taking any damage:

:ccp:
The game rules, they do nothing!
So you are claiming that RA are exploiting and using devs to make the DDD hit over 250km?.
And you also seem to have proven that the game has lag and desynch... er ..gratz i think.

The usual defence from the usual suspects. You kept claiming there was no dev scandal right until he confessed either. Best to shine a bright light on this incident, just to make sure we're not in a similar situation again. Why are you so against that DC? Something to hide?

that's what happens when you pull that "siege the pos 20 minutes before DT" crap too much, you eventually get caught offguard.

Did you explain that it was an RA titan? I mean if RA lost a cap, let alone a titan or a whole cap fight, it must have been an exploit. Didn't the GM's listen to reason?

I think its when freaky things happens and BoB's on the field people draws the sploit conclusion. If they sploited once(I dont know the correct number of sploits thou) they prolly will sploit again.

You don't see anything wrong with this picture?
Even the *server* can't figure out where your ship is supposed to be. It cant be out of range and taking damage from something at the same time. Either have the wreck where I supposedly took the DD damage, or have my ship at the gridload, but not both!
Why is noone else troubled by this? Especially given that if asked for reimbursement, CCP will just say "Lawl, you participated in playing eve, why should we be responsible for making sure game mechanics actually work consistently? Also, "our server logs were unable to produce any irregular data indicating that something funny happened."
The pictures prove that something funny happened, now why don't the server logs indicate it? (if they're ever so much as glanced at, which I doubt)
I dunno. Plenty of other games out there that work. Like I said, if handling 300 people in a fight is too much, figure out a way to make it work properly, or figure out a way to avoid having to handle 300 clients, but don't just leave users blowing in the wind.

Honestly..
1. We all know its dangerous flying around ships in PvP the minutes/Seconds around Downtime. 2. CCP warns each and every single person an hour before DT 3.Shutdown procedures and human interaction > time stop watch 4. RAs known metagaming around DT.
Well, this time you got burned. Its still a risk you willingly took.
Suck it up and move on! You failed ingame this time! So what! But running to the forums about it, make you just look more stupid!
