EDIT: Ahh, I just noticed the character is only 18 days old. That must have been quite a mission-farming marathon.

I got 9.5+ with galfed and over 8 with minrep
he's 18 days in that corp, could be he just quit to that, or is that one of the startercorps? cuz that would be odd.

That is very easy to accomplish with being able to share standings on missions.

It is Hedion, a starter corp, they have actually only been in game 18 days and their highest corp rating is like 5. It looks very fishy indeed when you examine in game.

Typical farmer , hundreds of those to be found in lowsec. We kill as many as we can but it's an uphill battle.

Last time I checked you cannot share standings on storyline missions which is the only way to get base faction standing that I know of.

COSMOS missions also raise your faction standings, and by quite a lot.

So would it be possible that this person tagged along while someone ran their cosmos? idk

I'll try to explain it without a wall of text, so bare with me.
Person A has 7.0 standing with Corp X and has high social skills
Person B creates a character, and joins a gang with Person A.
Person A spams missions for his high quality level 3 or 4 agent and turns missions in as a gang.
The way standings increases work, Agent standing goes up quickly, much quicker than Corp Standings. Once the standing with the agent goes up to say, 6.9. Person B can now do missions for that same high quality level 4 agent, even though his Corp Standing at the time is still only around 2.0 to 2.5.
Now all Person B has to do is spam level 4 courier missions for that agent, and immediately start receiving level 4 storylines when he us under 2 days old.
If the Level 4 storyline is a combat mission, he just gets Person A to complete it for him.
Hope that explains it to you.

k, you must run 16 corp missions to get one storyline mission, you can't see it from the screenshot but the only corp standings they have is republic justice department of 3.32 (idk how they would run level 4 missions with their standings this low unless they had high republic standings before they had high corp standings????). So how is that the standings are so high from running storylines when the one and only corp they have standings for is so low coupled with the 16 mission trigger? If it's a cosmos thing and you can share cosmos turn ins for standings I could possibly understand that.

Edited by: Stakhanov on 21/03/2008 22:00:32 It IS a farmer. An Ingunn farmer actually. They are clones of each other really , running courrier missions from the same station for the same agents. They do it all day long , which is why their standings look shocking.

When there are 30 characters all running missions for the same corp sharing their gains the standings will tend to raise like a rocket. They are most likely doing this in order to get r&d agents in order to farm mass amounts of datacores to sell for isk which they then sell on those websites you see spammed all over the place.

Look at his agent standings, those are raw agent standings (meaning without relevant social skills applied). He is able to use the agent named Allfingrund Kodahle, which is a level 4 quality -18 agent. Agent standing trumps Corp standing in this case. Corp standing is irrelevant if you have a high standing with the mission agent, which was the point I was trying to get across. I don't know how to explain it to you any easier. Perhaps someone else could?

If they skip missions quite often they can still get story line missions and have a low standing to the corp in question. To get that high in 18 days they have to run missions 23/7. You may want to petition them as ISK sellers/macro users. But don't wait for them to get removed before they hand money over to a buyer, what can take time.

I think you would be hard pressed to get that kind of standing with an 18 day old character without some kind of exploit or macro. The only way I can think of that's feasible is to do cosmos missions, and have someone with good skills actually do the missions for you.

So all it does is prove to me that ccp needs to fix the agent systems, an 18 day old should not be able to do L4 missions impo
I do realize it will prolly be hard to change though. _______________________________________________________ CCP, let us pay the online shop with Direct Debit!!!

It is easy for a farmer to get standings this high. If you consider the average courier mission gives between 0.01 and 0.03 corp standing increase. The 16 mission sequence gives a very small corp increase. Storylines give the big faction increases, after a certain point its the faction standing that unlocks the next level of agent.
Therefore in a very short space of time they have level 4 agents, some low sec stations have 4 level 4 q20 agents in them. This makes it very profitable in terms of mission payments and LP. If a location is choosen with care its quite possible to run all 4 agents that will send the character in the same general direction. Then consider they are being run 23/7.
This probably generates billions of isk per month and should really be addressed by CCP. It doesnt take a genius to realise if a character generates isk 23/7 every day of the year some sort of EULA violation is taking place.
