Edited by: Ying May on 25/03/2008 18:46:25 Hi,
i have the following modules on my POS in 0.3: Silo1 Silo2 Silo3 Moonharvester1 Moonharvester2 Complex Reactor
All modules are anchored within 1km from each other. Now i tried to connect them... first i connected the harvesters:
harvester1 -> Silo1 harvester2 -> Silo2
if i now click on apply it works well, the symbols at the silos have the same color like the reactors.
then i try to connect the silos 1+2 with the reactor with a reaction bpo within
silo1+silo2->reactor
if i now click on apply the symboles at the reactor loose the color of the silos and get grey
if i try to connect the harvesters directly with the reactor the connections i loose the connections too if i try to connect the reactor with the silo3 it won't work too
where is the problem?

i think your problem might be that the reactor is not online. 2nd you need to connect both input and output before it works, but most important is that the Reactor needs to be online before you click apply.
Hope it helps you ------- Ore & Ice Mining T1 & Capital & Rig Production POS Fueling and Reaction Minerals to Ore calculator |

it's been a while, but try setting up the entire chain before you hit apply. _______________ Pwett CEO, Founder, & Executor <Q> QUANT Hegemony

You should be using a simple reactor and a simple reaction. If you really want a complex reaction then you have the wrong set up entirely. |

Edited by: Laura Steel on 26/03/2008 12:21:23 Harvesters can go directly into a reactor.
While a complex reactor can do simple reactions, you might as well use a simple reactor for it.
(Harvester 1 + 2)=>(Simple Reactor)=>((silo[to collect the excess simple reaction])+(Silo[second simple reaction])=>(Complex Reactor)=>(Silo) ----

Edited by: Kikusaku on 26/03/2008 13:05:14 you need to offline your harvesters and silos before setting up the links, im not sure about the reactor yet. might be same way also dont close the manage screen before your finishesd setting the whole thing up, and you might want to hook up a coupling array between the reactor and the final silo so you have uninterupted production, while offlining and emptying the last silo the rest should be automated after that.

Harvestors silos etc are offline. Have a look at the new eve guides for further info (I just set one of these up also tonight for 1st time and it works OK)
