Strange thing his is other acount running through same client and pc is fine. Here's a link of what these errors look like, he gets them upon killing npc, jumping, docking, undocking not sure there a lot of things he dont get them from.

Any advice on how to sort this problem would be great.
Ps. He has tryed all the usual stuff, clearing cache installing new client ect.

Edited by: Viglen on 29/03/2008 12:55:11 Ask him to check if he's unchecked "Show exeptions" in the general settings
Wasn't there something about each character or account having individual settings now?

ñ&/ñ%ñ&ññ%& I hate wireless networks, gonna have to write this responce again!
Well, there is a way, you need to locate the settings file in your main EVE folder. Open it and look for anything related to showing exeptions, it isn't always easy and you might wanna get a friend to help you if you don't feel comfortable about it.
I whould like to be more specific but I'm at work and can't check it myself untill I get home.
Another thing that you might wanna look into is that there might be a settings file for each account/characterr, but I'm not sure, think I recall something about that from the patch notes.
I'm gonna look into it when I get home, because I have an account that keeps getting those to and I've been to lasy to check it mylself

You have the exceptions option enabled.
Go into your 'esc' menu, then to general settings, and search for 'show exception windows'.
Disable it.
If that doesn't fix your problem, then we'll try something else

As far as I know, exceptions shouldn't appear unless the value is set through the escape menu.
All I can suggest is to run the logserver furing normal play, and hope that an exception gets thrown. When it does, file a defect and attach the logserver file.
This might give us an insight as to why these are plaguing you.

The logserver is an application that we ship with the client that records alot of information about the client, and is really very useful in analysing and diagnosing problems on the client.
It will be located in the EVE installation folder as LogServer.exe. run this application, and when it opens up, goto the 'File' menu and then select 'new workspace'. After this, start EVE. Play through the game as you normally would. After you've experienced a few errors, quit the client, and switch back to the logserver. Under the file menu, choose save. This is your logserver file for your client run.
Now, you have to be aware that it will log to one file constantly the longer you run EVE, often storing upto several hundred thousand lines. As such, it can lag out even the largest and fastest systems.
The logserver doesn't catch all the problems that can arise, but it does go a long way towards helping us diagnose certain problems.
