For fun I opened EFT and was interested to see how fast I could get the Raven....I wasn't expecting much but maybe 2km/s...but with everything maxed out, implants, skills, mods...Raven was able to get close to 6km/s...I wonder if anyone has ever flown a Raven like this? LOL

Yes,
There are a very small amount of people that spend insane amounts of ISK to make super fast (relativly) MWDing CNRs that are very powerful and very hard to catch.

The sheer amount of people who do stupid stuff just to try and get a CNR kill is insane. He probably killed about 50 bil worth of stuff in it. Please visit your user settings to re-enable images. |

In EFT, if you max everything, everything will be crazy. In EVE, if you max everything, you are crazy. Please visit your user settings to re-enable images. Skills Explained |

i wanted to do a nano torp raven for ratting just because **** cruise missiles, and forget drakes.
although with my missile sp i would probably be better off with an amarr bs, even against guristas Please visit your user settings to re-enable images.

And in the end he was killed by what? A domi and a falcon?
I thought you needed 50 rapiers and curses to kill a nanoship, or at least the whiners on this forum would have you believe.

obviously it was a nano-domi and a nano-faclon.
everybody knows you've got to fight nano with nano to stand any chance.

No it wasn't a nano domi. The CNR undocked and was 10k off the station. He tried to warp but got scrammed, double webbed and jamed. Then he died! Welp

Bah humbug, costs lots of money and skillpoints to really nano yourself out totaly and i have a solution.
Recon 5 21 days (Done) Minmatar Cruiser 5 21 days (18 days to go) 2 x Domination Stasis Webbifier 250mil (Check) Overheat (You betcha)
Watching every vagabond, nano, speed tanker run from you.. priceless.
Nanoing is very expensive (Compared to a standard T2 armor/shield tank fit) catching them is equaly expensive just use the right tools for the job.

You didn't expect them to integrate elements which invalidate their rhetoric ?

Does test server count?
MWDing from 100km away launch torps while MWDing and watching them bunch up and all hit the target at the same time for an insta-pop.

ratting with the new torps can be done with a T1 MWD and a bunch of cap modules. missile range rigs help too. i had mine doing around 30 km torp range. add a webber drone and you can stay in range of the rats without the MWD going the whole time.
~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ Take away the risk and it would make flying around in space utterly pointless.
Take away the flying around part and you make EVE into a space themed spreadsheet application. |
