I am writing a script for an Office Space parody in EVE. Any suggestions? There is still alot of stuff I haven't decided on yet, such as the title. This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine. |

Don't put "Space" in the name. That would lead people to expect it to be more like the movie than you can probably make it (and still be funny).
Before you write too much, watch Clear Skies (three parts) if you haven't already for an example of how to do it right. |

The amount of exposition that will be required, by the characters, will be cumbersome if the setting is too small, such as the crew of a ship. Perhaps approach the story at the alliance level. Speak to the silly side of alliance politics and use meta-gaming and exploiting Eve's rather weak Corp Roles as the tools of your heroes. That will not be as cumbersome to manage, and most people can identify with it. |

Also, some good satire on the silliness of aggression mechanics could be entertaining. |

"This plans ingenious we go though several thousand refinings a day and nobody notices the extra 0.01% efficenciey we have, so what normally would be lost on smaller refinings we can get ourselves in larger batches, and if we syphon off the extra minerals for our own and nobody would be the wiser!"
The next day the saber pilot disbands the allaince on accident during the reprocessing hiest.
