post yes or no to the idea of eve restarting everything in this game except accounts names but all charcters cleared with lots of stuff added

Thats not a bad idea! Get most of the eve communityÆs ideas, input and complaints
Rework the whole game fix all the bugs, re-vamp and add huge amount of content.
Update the servers and restart the F#*@$R

I get the idea is NO!...
The only reason they would do such a thing would be to set up a new map (they did it when changing out of beta) and i dont think they are going to do that. They are too busy setting up SHiva and a dozen other ideas.
My answer is also NO.
I roleplay... there is this computer game called "Earth - The First Genesis" where i play a character in the early 21st century. |

To even out the economic system and shave off all the evils that have been done by the more nefarious players, it could work.
For those players who've spent the better part of 10 months training? I think not.
ISK are irrelevant, but time isn't.

I'll have to throw in a big NO as well.I've only been in the game a couple months and I'd flip if I lost my precious 2 mil skillpoints. couldn't imagine how the people who've been on over 6 months would feel.
lol, how about this. A special one time bonus for players with less than 5 million skill points. the next skill they train will be maxed out (to lvl 5).

As I said in another post, it's NO for me.
Peoples worked hard on their characters. Reseting would make them leave.
Dammit if I put some serious work in a character, I don't want to see him deleted in 5 minutes lol.

Even though i'm fairly new to this game, i don't think it would be a good idea. I like the idea of having people always better than you, it gives you something to work up to.

There is not one better than anyone else. The skill set is still small. In a short time you will have a slot and you must train in the slot.
Fighters will have numerous skills to to train and miners and producers. Soo anyone can start and be right upto the same level as someone that has done all the skills in thier specific field.

i say YES. this game is pwned by elite players who've been playing since beta.
clear everything, jack up battleship prices (so that not everyone has one)and restart the game. id like starting over again.. but i take it many others would not.

No. In the case of any after-launch wipe, I would demand no less that all of my money refunded - monthly charges included. After all, EVE just has too much time-sink gameplay to justify a wipe.

i hope the inventor and supporters of this idea die in horrible real life accidents before they can repost...we who have been playing since release are SUPPOSED to have an advantage... we PAID to earn it and supported ccp throughout beta... so screw u noob.. if u want to get better u should have bought the game earlier

No. If your bored, stop bieng selfish, save yourself some money, and quit the game.
And if you dont want to quit, reset your character.
Even if it was reset, there would still be uber players, those who trained their learning skills first, compared with those who trained mining lvl4 first.
