Now that the market quickbar is (going to (hopefully) be) fixed, can we have the "Add to Market Quickbar" option in more places, such as the Wallet and the Hanger inventories?
Thanks!

I believe these two items are missing from the release notes but I'm verifying it. The release notes will be updated if necessary.
Originally by: Katana Seiko NOOOO! More Welcome windows? Are you insane? I need an option where I can disable them...
There's been an option from the beginning to disable them all. Press ESC, go to General Settings and uncheck the Show Welcome Pages box. This is a setting per character so you must be past character selection to see the option.

If you want some info, fine. Ask for it as every polite and well-behaved person would do. But don't join the path of Sony and other rogue companies who tried that before. You know where that ended: lots of bad press and a class law suit.
More information as to how your going to collect the info and what exact info you will be collecting is certainly in order. Having a fill in the answers or a voluntary one time scan that tells you all that is collected and gives you a copy in a txt file is reasonable, automatic with no way of knowing what or how often your collecting is unreasonable.

Patch notes 51200 Trinity 1.1: Boost Patch Notes, released 12 March 2008 A mystery star that appeared in all solar systems, brighter than all others has disappeared.
Patch notes 52907 Trinity 1.2: Patch Notes, released 15 April 2008 The mysterious "Star in the North" that has been baffling everyone with its mysteriousness has now suddenly and mysteriously disappeared.
That star is nearly as annoying as the overview / drone windows/ fleet windows

We believe that this star's intensity and oscillating frequency may have caused temporal anomalies and thus it appears in two release notes. It also contributed to a drop in FPS.

JOINING FLEET TOTALLY DESTROYS YOUR OVERVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!
If you guys missed this one then you totally fail, it is THE most annoying bug in the game right now hands down.
Also, bring back the alt key! I do not want to switch tabs just so I can scan an area for a fraction of a second!

Nothing for linux/macintosh client :( Hope you guys talk to Transgaming, their development is very slow and not up to the (your own in fact) expectations. 15% fps drop? nah nah, it's more like 40-50%. EvE is the final barrier for me to finally kick out Windows...

What was it anyway? I'm guessing it was a bug in the graphics engine, but what was it trying to render there? --

As Hagen Stein stated before, you will collect data about graphic cards. Please do it not this hidden way. Ask for it! You are not M$. Or as a question: Which information in detail you will get and which information you have taken until now? This needs a clarification. (I'm sure, most people would give you the information, but not this way.) [Edit] And if it's for future graphics ... if you release new graphis, let's say next year, I'm sure that 50-75% of your player base will have new/other graphic cards. I can't see the sense in it.
In which location we can await to find the settings this time? ;) SCNR |

All the LOD 1 levels of all the moons and planets in the solar system.

Yes. You can try the release on Singularity right now (please make sure not to overwrite your Tranquility install, you need to copy it and then patch the copy). Singularity is at build 52510 tonight.

I'm going to have to agree with the discomfort about how this collection of information on our personal systems is going to happen. The EULA is not relavent since precedents have already been set in the US courts that abused/excessive EULA's have been thrown out as unenforcable/illegal. (I don't know about Iceland, but we know where your playerbase is)
A simple system like a (one-time) pop-up window I may accept, but I need to see what's being sent *before* it is sent, so that I may cancel it if I am not comfortable with the transaction. But, in-the-background, I-don't-know-what's-going-on type stuff, is, I agree, quite unacceptable.

Also, no, you may not download info about my video card without my permission.

All the LOD 1 levels of all the moons and planets in the solar system.
And the removing of the star was causing the FPS-drop, as the graphic engine tried to render the moons anywhere else... Great bug!

Although my post is reduntant, I really want to point out the importance of fixing the issue where overview and drone windows are displaced each time I undock. This is getting to the point where I try to avoid unnessesary docking due to this issue. I read somewhere that you were working on it. Is it really not included in this patch?
Part from that, great notes :-) --- - Torpify - |

Patch Notes:
Quote: "This is the second bug fix release of Python 2.5. Python 2.5 is now in bug fix-only mode; no new features are being added."
Perhaps CCP should adopt a similar "bug fixes only" attitude until its QA department can catch up? I for one would love to see nothing for the next 6 months but bug fixes and 100% effort spent on making existing features work.

Thanks for letting me know, seeing as your EULA lets you do this anyway. I now know what you are going to take and that if I disagree I can stop playing eve .
Some stats afterwards would be great though on video cards, sort of like how steam (if I remember correctly) released stats.
EDIT: Need to add my whine, Fix the damn ALT key! |
