Hey, I put up the occasional sell or buy post on the boards, and often they are buried within the hour. I don't keep windows open with each thread on my computer 24/7, so eventually I have to go to bed, and in the morning I'll try to find the post, and bamph, I have to search through about 18 pages worth of posts to find mine.
Now, if I actually can find /one/ of my posts, I can click on my picture and 'read all recent posts' by myself. However, this is roundabout and really annoying nonetheless.
How can I tag or otherwise find my own posts without going through pages of posts I don't care about?

I have a simple solution, as long as you don't over-post. Click your own Avatar in a post you've made, and one of the options below it on the corresponding page will be "See the last posts of this Character".
From there, you will have a list of the latest posts you've made.

And if you bookmark that "see last posts" page you'll always be able to go back :)

Tchell, as I mentioned in my first post, that doesn't really help because I still am obligated to go find one of my own posts before I can look up my last posts.
A lot of online boards allow you to go straight to your character from the boards main page. Do we have absolutely nothing like that here?

Damn. You're right. Sorry, I missed reading that paragraph.

I haven't seen it, but I've been looking for a similar solution.

What about bookmarking the actual post when you made it? -

There's a My Character link on the left-hand side, which will let you select one of the characters on your account. The trick is, once you've clicked the portrait to get the character info and skill tree, click the smaller portrait on the info page and you'll be taken to that forum avatar page with a link to show your recent posts.
The EVE-O forum software isn't very good, all told.

Dare you suggest that these forums aren't all that they might be?

How about you bookmark it yourself in the browser and put it in a seperate folder labled EVE or something of the such.
- Favorites - Add to Favorites - Create New File - Label it - Press Okay
That is your best option and I doubt there is an easier way.
