Is it just me, or does anyone else think that EVE would benefit from the borg? I think it would be great if we could battle some tactical cubes or a borg sphere.

It's you.
I wonder why people are so unimaginative. EVE is not and should not be Star Trek. ------- Nobody can be exactly like me. Even I have trouble doing it. |

Edited by: Zaknussem on 11/04/2008 17:55:34 I'd be more interested in fighting the Bjorn. Especially as their ships, while large, dark and rectangular, are also designed by M.C. Escher. I'd like to see the Trinity engine cope with a ship that breaks the three-dimensional boundaries.
Only the people that played the old Sierra adventure games have any idea what I'm talking about. |

I seem to remember a Borg corp long ago that would swarm the hell out of battleships with noob frigates. Had all those awesome borg names like Three of Five and such.

You mean goons? Ive noticed that 99.9% of people on these forums have a signature. If you are one of the 0.1% that doesnot have a sig, copy this into your sig, and display your defiance towards people with sigs. |

In EVE its the pod pilots that are the Borgs. We are all linked up to a computer lady named Aura!

Eve has Rogue Drones which are quite like the Borg. Try fighting them someday when you're not busy being a noob in a rookie ship, thinking up stupid ideas because you love Star Trek so much that you even need to include it in your breakfast cereal.

you know what, maybe we should all do this test to see if we are qualified to request borg or jedi in eve.

That's intresting since Escher died in 72 and Sierra was founded in 79. They might have based the ships on his work, and I'm really intrested in it. I'm a big fan of Eschers work.
