Hey all,
Quick question, my Father in law who is a big sci fi fan has expressed interest in playing Eve. I'm not sure if its the right fit for him but I figured for his birthday I'd give him the oportunity to try it out. Using the buddy system he would get 21 days of free play before he would have to sign up, but I'm doubtfull if that would be enough time to really allow him to figure the nuances out.
I'm debating using my account to open up a "power of 2" which I could pay for and allow him six months of play time, which is more than enough time for him to decide if he wants to continue playing or not, but I have a quick question before I go ahead with it.
Is it possible to create the new account, pay for the 180 days of game time and then change the e-mail address to his so he would get all the alerts and such from CCP?

Hey. I'm 56 years old; 57 in May. My days of duking it out for the sake of sweat and adrenalin are behind me, but I find a lot to do in EVE that doesn't involve balls-to-the-wall fighting and running and fighting and running. Your daddy-in-law will figure it out. Dunnat wurry abowtit. Anyone with any sense has already left town. |

There are Eve players who are probably a lot older than your father-in-law, so don't think age will affect his ability to enjoy the game. |

Thanks fellas,
Appreciate your responses. It sounds like the power of 2 is the better track to take to really let him try it out at his own pace. |

If it weren't, nobody would use the buddy program. Rifterlings - Small gang lowsec combat corp specializing in frigates and cruisers. US Timezone veterans and newbies alike are welcome to join us.
