But if you're getting bored with training your learning skills, by all means train something else! Training learning skills will allow you to learn other skills a bit faster, but if you get bored to hell doing it and quit the game, the learning skills are quite a waste...
EDIT: I realise you might be talking about training skills instead of the skills in the Learning category (which I was talking about previously). If you want to reduce training time on all skills, train the skills in the Learning category. They will help significantly. Go to this thread and this one for details (both threads by Tripoli).

I did a little math with my alt to demonstrate how effective these learning skills really are.
I used my implant-free, minimal learning skills minmatarr alt, and set him to learn for a claymore (command ship). Without either skills nor implants, it would take 205 days. Now adding all Basic and Advanced learning skills to level 4 (except Charisma) and +3 implants, a command ship will now take 111 days.
I suggest downloading EVEMon (google it) and putting your skills that you plan to train in there. It'll suggest learning skills for you to train. ___________ I Get Money in New Eden Federation |

kk, thnkyou both, i'll look at it to see if i can get a hand on some of those implants, and i allready have my learning skills up to lvl 3 and 4 (4 mostly) , and i btw searched for implants allready but they're quite expensive(for me that is since i've only been playing for like a month and a half ).
Rhnx for the tips yall!

Check out the advanced learning skills, while expensive, they are extremly helpful as well.
But basically take your time, things will get faster as you progress.

Out of interest, what would the training time be if the time spend on learning skills(and cybernetics) were factored in?(Im assuming they werent ;_;)
Edit: Ah level 4 only, not too long then :) Probably better to train basics to V early on though. ----
Nothing is as it appears; nor is it anything else.

If you start with no learnings at all, then getting learnings to Basic 4, Advanced 3 and +3 implants will make you train more than 2.5 times as fast.
If you start with something like Spatial 4, Iron Will 2 (common starting skills) and then train to Basic 4, Advanced 3 and +3 implants, you will train almost 2.2 times as fast.
Either of those can be completed in under 2 weeks. You'll need about 65M isk for the advanced learnings and +3 implant set though. This could be gained pretty easily through a week of salvaging L1 missions. |

For my alt, I rushed her to Cybernetics 4 after getting Instant Recall 3 and Analytical Mind 3. Then plug in a set of +4s and train all the rest. |
