As the title says i took a break from eve just before trinity, i left of with this char cross training to gallente although it seemed they were getting a huge nerf.
i was just wondering what the main gameplay changes are, yes i have looked at the patch notes but that doesnt give you a proper picture of what it is really like. for example how are the new ships are coming, i liked the idea of the black ops ships are they living up to their potenial or like many things flawed in design.

The most noticable changes to me that cover what you may have missed.
Trinity - Pretty.
HDR Bloom - Makes your eyes bleed, turn off.
Marauders - Great for mission running, skill intensive, some marauders are more desirable then others.
EM resistance nerf - Amarr now have less of a bad time killing Caldari rats.
Amarr Apocalypse - Now possibly overpowered in my opinion as an Amarr player, after all its making a 500 million isk navy ship near obsolete atm.
Loyalty point Stores - Much welcome and loved feature if you're a mission runner and haven't seen them yet, but some of the rewards need a price check with reality.
Black ops - Too expensive for their combat ability according to their users, used simply as a cyno gate maker for other ships.
Overloading - The last ditch of the dying player, or the leanpost of the cheap setup suicide ganker.

I have been abit confused about the new overview options for "tickers". The "tickers" are the tiny icons seen on screen in space, like a moon icon, or sentry gun icon.
From what I understand, when you save an overview setting, that saved setting can be used for two things; the regular sorting of stuff in the overview, and/or also toggle various ticker/icons to show on screen, indicating cans, moons and such.
