Yes, i've bought money from isk sellers and i understand CCP point of view. I won't defend myself on the topic, i had my own reasons to do this. Now i have a wonderful negative bank account of 2.7B Isks. Nothing more to say, i'll quit. I'll let you do the math about assets, money spent (35 charges), Etc... I had very good time playing eve, nice community and big game! For those who are tempted to buy "false isk", big brother is watching you

I would assume you knew better than that :P
Anyways - my suggestion (untried though): create silly alt not on main account. The silly alt buys illigal isk, invests in something expensive like Estamel Invul field and then flies off to belt and drop the goodies. This is then picked up by the main...
Question is if CCP can track such a transaction when the alt is found guilty of isk-buying a week later?
Edit: poor grammar E&OE |

I know how you can find out, buy 10B ISK (~$500-$600) and do it. |

People with demanding RL-jobs simply can't "afford" to rat/mission/mine etc. hour upon hours to get something nice - say a dread/10 pvp BS. I think it is understandable, that those people buy GTC so they can play the game they want. RL "ratting" is so much more lucrative than fn-game ratting anyway. I don't really see anything wrong with that.
Anyway - those that shop isk at Ebay might get the mighty ban-hammer in the face :D |

The REAL moral of the story: it's still legal to buy EVE ISK for real money through GTC trade as long as you send the money to CCP. So anyone who finds immoral to trade ISK for real money also disapproves of CCP's behaviour. |

Yes. As for those who asked why i did this email, this is to warn them. I'm a vet, and i did take the easiest way. If you like this game, don't do it. For those who want my stuff: No way, work hard and gain your stuff as i did before those last monthes !!! I should have stay for long, i would have prefered a temporary ban for 2 monthes (with the mensual fee), but no... they took the money back. That was the subject of this topic: "isk farming, who is the looser?" i've lost all, but CCP did too, i was a "player base" staying for long. Farmer gained my money. Think about who are the real winners. |

Winning chess is quite hard, so does that mean you should go buy 16 chess sets and play with an army of just Queens?
Earning isk is a part of the game. In fact, seeing as skill points are fairly unimportant in EVE other than for unlocking new things, isk is the only way in which a skilled or hardworking player gets an edge over unskilled and casual players. No-one complains in WoW that a level 70 should be a better character than a level 10- in EVE, we use isk instead of levels.
If you can't stand logging in and trying to earn isk, you shouldn't be playing EVE. If the thought of isk-earning is a major turn off for you, EVE is not the game for you.
Cheating is not an acceptable way of fast-tracking to the best stuff in the game. |

I'm against eBayers and ETCs. Its both cheating in my opinion. Just because you want a Dread and 10 PvP BSs and don't want to rat, doesn't mean you can have it. |
