Hello,
I wanted to find out more about the skills that should be trained to reduce CPU use and allow for more turrets to be fit (tachys). I am currently struggling to have 6 tachys fit along the two cruise launchers left available. I have weapon upgrades 5 and electronics 5. What would you guyz recommend, perhaps for other modules too, to reduce CPU use.
high slots - preferably tachy ons and cruise launchers Mid slots I use cap rechargers II low slots, armor hardeners - damage control II, large armor repairers
Cheers, Timmuh

Get AWU IV. You'll still need a handful or RCU though.

What are you using this Apoc for? Why do you want Tachyons and cruise missiles? It is always a mistake to nerf your highslot utility just to cram on maximum-power modules. The only point I can see for Tachyons is sniping gates / fleet battles, where you want max range and can run minimal tank. Beams are much friendlier to overall fitting, and they give a better dps on almost all fittings, unless they are tankless or almost tankless. In addition, a lot of the greater range of Tachyons is contained in the falloff, which will not be helped by the new Apoc range bonus.
I think 8xMega Modulated / T2 Beams and drones for small targets, would work out better for missions...

I am running Level IVs in an Apoc right now, and I concur on the Tachs - don't use them. The extra range is not useful the vast majority of the time - heck, most of the time I am using Multi-Freq crystals while fighting.
Mega_mod beams are the way to go, if not just going with Pulses, which I am considering.

Why Dual heavy Pulse instead of Mega Pulse?
