I've been thinking, surely the size of the ship your using a modification on would mean the modification would be bigger or smaller (say a Condor and a Raven) depending on their sizes and class.
After all isnt it a bit strange that Condor's EMP resistance modification costs the same amount of resources as Ravens does? We have modules tailored for their size, why not modifications, makes sense to me.

Depending on what you mean by resources, I would say it requires a lot more resources for a Condor then a Raven. Powergrid, CPU, Cap and slot wise, it cost more for a Condor to fit an EM plate than a Raven. But to build the module, it cost the same, yes. That is not necessarily strange, depending on how the coating is applied and such.
What exactly do you have in mind?

Pretty sure he means rigs.
In which case, the effect is based on percentages, and so the effect is bigger for bigger ships. Of course, with resistance rigs, this percentage is a bigger boost to a small ship with small shield HP, rather than the recharge rigs which are more beneficial to ships with more HP. Playing around a bit in EFT it seems that the effect of resistance rigs on a frigate is roughly similar to the effect of recharge rigs, whereas on bigger ships, the recharge rigs are much, much more effective. The resistance rigs are also a lot cheaper, so maybe it is balanced that way?

Sorry, to clarify I meant the actually components for building the modifications rather then their bonus giving abilites, but the amount of salvage you need.

So basically you want frig sized rigs, cruiser sized rigs and battleship size, with the same modifications. Sounds logical in a lot of ways, but not sure it's needed. I'll leave that up to CCP
