Why not just make after burners immune to web? People with MWD can still catch up. It gives them a niche while nerfing the MWD that every 1 hates.
Artillery cannons = Worst Dps, tracking, range and ammo cap. No cap... Why do we need cap for anything els if your sniping. |

That's not the best argument considering you can already do that with practically any ship fitting a MWD. Especially if you combine that with a cloak.
As for making ABs immune to webs, yes please.
Do people even glance at the transversal column anymore? That's assuming they even have it on their overview in the first place.
These days you're either orbiting well outside of web range at high speed, or at a standstill due to being 90% webbed. Combat is too polarized in Eve. The nano fad is the result of webs and bubbles. If ABs were immune it would solve at least part of the problem.

Yay glad some 1 like my input. Sorry if i didn't put any numbers to back up my theory or scenarios due to the fact I have not been playing eve that long.. but this seems like a logical step other then nerfing this and that.

So... you can be webbed without an afterburner, but somehow fitting an afterburner gives you immunity?

If webs were not effective on AB ships, then aggression timers on gates would need to be removed. This would be bad for anyone trying to get away from a gate camp. You would then get tackled at both sides of the gate with no possibility of escape at all, assuming you couldn't just pop the campers to begin with. |
