I seem to recall reading a while back that Shiva would be released in May. Also, there are a whole bunch of combat balance changes in the works.
Other then Soon(tm), when? It can be fairly vague like 'barring any more issues with the hardware upgrades, we plan on releasing XXXXX sometime in the middle of May' or whatever. Just give us some kind of update on the plans and the age old question of when.
Maybe even a whole lot of details to the plan.
Thanks! :)

They definitely did say that Shiva would be released in May.
They did not, however, specify the year... ~~~~)\~~~~~\o/~~~~

I'm pretty sure they said May... however, they did not specify a year.
Hence, why I want to know.

They did say May.
The perfect time for it technically would be the 1 year anniversiry. Fear The Bunny

Edited by: Skaz on 27/04/2004 15:17:34 They did state somewhere that their estimated release of Shiva would be in May, but when in May they didn't say.....and also not what year
But I'd not expect Shiva to be released in early May as we haven't had any indications of the usual Chaos tests/requests for tests by the devs.
around late May/early June I'd expect to see Shiva at earliest, which would put Kali in and around November/December.
They did state this somewhere but as these blessed forums have no search feature (yet!) I haven't found it, but they did say this......somewhere.
Hellmar also said in a CSM that he's always forgetting to put a developement roadmap on the site
"No, I'm not alt.....even if I have been in Pator Tech School for 2 years..." |

Great now that you've mentioned seeing it somehwere in the forums "they" will use their search tool, find it and delete it, would probably be to risky to just edit it to a different time like before.
Stop griping about server instability and go buy an EVE mug!
Additionally with the purchase of each mug you will receive two(2) invisible Elves.

well, if they are to hit any date in may, then they probably will start releasing some hard facts about the shiva release soon. I'm sure they will need to release it on chaos pretty soon too.
<shrug>
That roadmap sounds good. Wish they would put that in place. :)

I just had a vision. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA this is funny!!!!
One day in may we will have a message on the news,
"Today we are patching in Shiva! We tested it on our local server and feel it is ready to go. We will be down from 12:00 to 00:00 and then increment logging in for 3 hours. Sorry for not having all this stuff on the test server but the dev blogs are soo much a bother.
We also will post the patchnotes in a week. We have disabled the petitions only to agent requests. Any one complaining on the forums will be banned and deleted. Eris will come to your house and whoop you personally We will have an update topic which we will delete anything we find offensive and make questions we know we can answer. Besides this we need to raise the mothly fee to $30.oo and 30Euro a month for both our EU and USA players and lower the fee to 5isk for our iceland players.
Check our Update of things we are planning to do that are dated in Sept of 2003." --------------------------

Hmmm, I haven't heard any changes to this. Pretty sure the biggest feature of Shiva was the player stations.
