Interceptor's is a new PVP corporation, and we are currently seeking Frigate, Interceptor, Scorpian, and Blackbird pilots.
We are more of a pirate corp than a PVP corp, but it's all the same thing, right?
Shai' Hulud is the CEO (some of you CA might know him...lol)
Anyways, i'll keep this short and as sweet as possible. We are looking for more players. If your interested, leave your name here, and i'll get back to you in-game;)

why do people choose names that are from fiction and such? Are they trying to say they are that person in an RP way? I have been told that in most Mudds you have to actaully use an RP name and not a chat handle or a character name from a book or show.
Still got to admit the Dune names are pretty cool. Go Franky!!!

Does using a name from your OWN fiction count?

Who or what is a Maud Dib ?? There is like 4 of them in game .....
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

Hmm...well, err.. I have yer CEO's corpse already and I'm a nublar idiot who shouldn't have anyone's corpse. And there is no inferiority complex going on here I repeat, no inferiority complex. So I'd say yer off to a bad start in that aspect.
GL anyways with yer new corp.

Strange I always thought the First Paul Muad'dib was in the book that came out 50 years ago. ;-) "The enemy to be feared is the one who wears the face of a friend"

Seems we have an uneducated man here...well he is a Minmatar chracter, guess that explains it. Maud Dib, the title given to Paul Atreides by the Fremen, son of the slain Duke, of the House Atreides. They moved to Arakis, or Dune, Desert Planet to take over spice production (the spice must flow) as a trap set forth by the Emperor of the known universe and the House Harkonen, to lure them to their destruction as they were the most popular of the houses and could have overthrown the Emperor.
Maud Dib (Paul) eventually turned the tides on Dune and removed the Emperor and House Harkonen anyways in the end, after many hardships and tests.
There have been two versions of this book series. One back in the 80's, that focused only on 'Dune', and then a miniseries done by Sci-fi channel on Dune and Children of Dune. There's actually more books then just those series, but you'd have to actualy pick up a book (oh the thought) to read about them.

If you refer to the Frank Herbert novel you will see it is in fact "Muad'dib" not "Muad'Dib", so please can YOU get YOUR facts straight? Thankyou

Well, I was thinking more of the first real person to play the part, not a fictional character. -------------------------------- CCP can patch away bugs, but they can't patch away stupidity. |

Dau Imperius you have great knowledge of the dune and you should teach many of the noobs, who don't read good books, or watch good sci fi movies about good entertainment :P you should try publishing a book :) and maybe a tv series a better version of tech tv and g4tv mixed telling of good names, bad names and how to just all around not be stupid

Just for those that missed the irony in Jushua's post. The name "Joshua Calvert" is from the "Nights Dawn Trilogy" by Peter F. Hamilton and that is a character that actually fits into the world of eve! |

IIRC, many of the TTI people were named after characters from Ayn Rand novels.
Admittedly, in their case it was an actual case of roleplay, as TTI's methods of operation and management were modeled after the world Ayn Rand created.
