I believe piracy to be a valid profession. I also believe anti-piracy to be a valid profession and mechanics need to be improved in order for this to happen.
I've mentioned before about how piracy, anti-piracy, bounty hunting, low-sec aggro mechanics and that whole bunch are interrelated and need a proper round table discussion. So yes, generally I am supportive of piracy.
Thank you for taking the time to ask.

It would be nice to improve it[hell, it would be nice to improve everything], but it seems like all of the necessary mechanics are already in place and everything else is just improving the U.I. in general terms.
Are there any specific complaints/problems that people are having?

Haha, i can see the brains working now
"this guys is from veto, veto is famous pirate corp, what does he want to hear - yes yes, but how large is the antipirate carebear side of our potential votership? yes yes... but there are so many pirate voters out there too... yes ye.. but.."
common.
piracy is part of the game, what kind of question is that.
I dont pirate, i have no idea how hard that job is - but i assume its not the easiest way to earn cash. I see no reason to nerf , or touch the balance unless some large player base moans about injustice.
i dont see this happening.
also i dont see my "opinion" beeing relevant to the CSM work - we would relay more than we would bring in our own opinions.

Hello,
well good question and good answers so far. I tried to pirate with an alt about 2 years ago and it was fun. Since than i havn't done it but i still have some friends around pirate corps and i hear all day that the pirate buisness if really getting more and more disadvantages or better said is getting tougher and thougher.
I for my part think that that it should be improved but balanced. Not making piracy the ultimate buisness but make it more attractive for players to start it. Maybe like adding more shortcut roads from different hubs to other hubs via low sec!
Also maybe giving pirates a better chance to act also in the 0.0 entry systems. Maybe by adding a few more jump in points to 0.0 would make it more intresting. Vote me for CSM! |

I share Max Torps' opinion on this and would also like to point out that I'd like to make low-sec space more interesting financially to get more people in there. Something to replace plexes would be a welcome addition too. ---

I think factional warfare could add more aspects on who's being pirate in what area, rather then someone being pirate everywhere, depending on who you prefer to align yourself to etc. |
