Props to a nice clean fight last nite. That EW is killing me damnit OC made a tactical retreat after we got some unneccecary reinforcements We lost an apoc after some nice warping from OC side, we wasted a bb afaik . Reverend got some lovin again, not enough i guess
Anyway we were waiting the whole day for someone to come, are the mining corps in paragon like zoners and bsc under direct orders not to attack without OC ? Or do they just chicken out

In paragon soul most of the time there are members of OC logged in, so that is why you will always see some OC pilots in fights. I have another char up in other regions who is a solo hunter, but most of the time I fight with OC because they are fun and very competent(sp?). So no, the other C4 corps have not been ordered to attack only with OC.

I'm fairly certain that ZelRox is refering to a group of TTI, BSC and Zoners who were logged in GQ2 about 4 hours earlier and which had superior numbers to the enemy fleet in the system at the time but chose to decline battle.
ZelRox may blame me for not getting his battle then. He correctly surmises that the C4 fleet was comprised of non-PvPers. He incorrectly supposes that they are 'chicken'.They were chomping at the bit to take Proteuz' bait and charge into battle. I talked them out of it.
While the 'miners-in-warships' saw only that we had a numerical edge, I saw that the combination of ships and pilots we had were no match for the highly experienced PvPers we had to fight.
I was the only 'chicken' in that group. We'll discuss the appropriateness of that appellation, in battle, some other time :)

Dalman, why don't you try not personally attacking duke on the forums at every chance you get. It's lame and pretty much pathetic. And ****ing me off actually.
To zelrox: Indeed a good fight. Looking forward to the next one.

I usually respect what you have to say (not necessary agreeing with you though...), but this kind of reply is immature and silly.
Please refrain from this crap and make some useful comments instead that are worth reading.

zoners seem to enagage sometimes but mostly it's oc solo or duo hunters in paragon soul, got my ass chased by a raven yesterday, and some other backup ship that never warped in, engaged him for a bit for fun, then left since my poor scorp isn't going to win with 6 launchers pounding me with fof, from a shield tanked raven. Was a nice break from sitting at a station all day with nobody showing though.
anywayz , tti is nice , don't fight much, take the stations though. and they don't smacktalk, at least the ones i met. i've never had anyone from british aerospace enagage me, i think, prob miners, and zoner seem to be getting a bit more into pvp, usually with at least 1 oc along. and oc fight, well you know, they wait for the defensive numbers to drop, log in their bships ( 75% scorp ) usually and enagage. And they hunt aroudn in 2 man teams between c9n and gq2. they also seem to love the logoff tactics, at gates and station, leave on bship there with the other logged off. Then they just call it of on ts. And the other one logs on again.

FFS... stop your damn whining kip. we never have and never will use the logoff tactics u talk about. I can honostly say we have never ever purposly logged off at a gate or station (ctd's aside). With the intent off logging in when enemy arrives. We do however log off at moons or deadpace from time to time. To get the enemy fleet guessing for our position. Getting sick and tired of u guys implying this **** all the time. If u can't win ingame then you take it to the forums huh?
SA turned this thread into something entirely different again. so Zelrox lets just keep the chatter to local next time . Cause some ppl actually know to have fun.

No, but everyone in your corp has at least 2 characters they use for combat. And then you use: IF C4numbers >> SAnumbers play with battleships character IF C4numbers == SAnumbers or C4numbers << SAnumbers log out and log in with frigate character

52% armour - pfft i get more loving off my dog after i refuse to take her walkies .
Yea good fight, but u will find all corps in C4 have to PvP otherwise they are out. BSC went up to fountain in a Interceptor/frigate raid. Zoners, Stronghold and TTI engaged an SA fleet that out numbered them (i the c4 fleet was comprised of 2 bs's, 4 cruisers, 3 frigates) with 6 battleships and killed four of them. I think only 1 OC was present in that engagement, he did not take command and he didn't get a chance to fire as Balmer is a nublar and was target jammed .

Is MASS allowed to fight on a week day yet? Do you still have to turn in 3mill + the npc loot everyday so you dont have to mine.

*edit* Just wanted to add that as my post was removed due to "You can shoot eachother in-game" should not personal attacks like Dalman's be removed too then?

MASS only fights on weekends this is true. Since all of Stain was lost to the ubber CA assault in December, or was it in January, or then again in Feburary, or was it really in March, .... well get the picture?
Since reports of our demise were so accurate, its only fair we fight CA/C4 2 days out of 7. Blame it on Trigger - he's trying to level the playing field.

I like to keep numbers as accurate as possible. From both sides for my records. Reverend Necrona your numbers are slightly off from last nights engagement above c9n. We had 6 cruisers, 2 frigs, and 2 battleships. SA had 3 battleships 2 cruisers, 4 intercepters (as far as i could tell) If i'm wrong please if an SA member can please post on numbers. No need for ship types. Our losses in that engagement where 2 frigs and 1 cruiser. Everyone left the battle limping pretty good. We killed the 3 SA BS, 2 cruisers, 1 intercepter. It was a tough fight. The battle which had 2 engagements in it lasted a total of 60 mins. Once the battle was done I left there with 50% structure. We all had a great time. I think this was a very evenly matched battle. I hope to see you guys on the battle field again. Have fun everyone. ***PLAYERS AGAINST MINING*** |

That was a great fight... a whole lot of fun too.
SkyKnight, I'll support your numbers of SA battleships (3) and cruisers (2). I have no clue about how many frigates there were. 3-5 sounds about right tho...
I was flying a Battleship btw... and I didn't even ask Duke first

To Tholarim: The reason we dont like Duke is A.) After the crap he and Civ Pulled its kinda hard to trust him B.) He let Dreamworks of his leash (SA command put mine BACK on) C.) He's the leader of the enemy forces. D.) Although I will support to my death his advication of the long range range minimalization of losses, they are annoying and only slightly less exiting than cataloging 1000 of the same fly by dichotous key. E.) The fact that he says "we arent out for blood" then he admits he is, then he says he isn't... my tiny swabby brain can't take that crap.
To Dreamworks: you do not have the figure to be a cheerleader bro.

You are correct Roger it was not all SA. There was a mix. Stan bowman and FC Raptor where in the fight. It was a blast of a fight. Have not been on tonight to fight. Feel like i'm missing out on some good action. Ya Gunny there where a good bit of frigs in there. I'm really enjoying the mixed fleets. It's making the game more dynamic in many ways. Much better then seeing 20 battleships on 20 battleships. Thats just a slug fest. ***PLAYERS AGAINST MINING*** |

Strange... When I was BSC, I seem to remember us launching a LOT of attacks with just a few of our pilots alone. We tend to specialise in interceptor/frig raiding though, not that you guys would know eh? Ta for the local spanders btw. --------
