A trillion ISK.
That's 1000 billion if you were not aware, and is not unusual. 100 Billion is probably middle-class these days and completely attainable for a clever rabbit.

if you look at "total wealth" you are looking at ISK, assets and characters.
A year ago I felt like I was finally getting somewhere in terms of wealth accumulation - then I sold everything (except for a mission ship) to buy a character from the bazaar and felt extremely poor for the following few months.
I would feel truly wealthy when the question of wealth is no longer a question about my ability to generate income but a question about assets (i.e. when my assets [and asset-derived passive income] outstrip my own ability to actively generate income by far).
For now incursions/ratting are still my most efficient means of earning ISK and aside of characters I only own a few weeks worth of income in ISK/assets. |

i'd say wealthy is when you can get enough isk per month to buy a plex or 2 for added subscription and still have isk left over for ships and goodies. Or you pay the 15 bucks and you have now all the isk for ships and goodies, but i'd definitely say that when you can afford a plex and have extra isk to spare is when you can consider yourself wealthy. |

Look up your expectancy of life in the relevant actuary tables; if you have enough to buy PLEX to surpass this number then you're rich, if not then you're not.

I don't have a number. PLEX has changed the way I look at ISK; so I don't consider ISK a measuring stick in-game anymore.

Wealthy is owning all the tech moons. I don't see why people complain at PLEX as having devalued isk - it still costs -ú30 to get a billion isk, whereas tech moons will do that in less than a day for free... Same for incursions, really. |

I'd say that it's the person who can't spend it fast enough who's the wealthiest. Earning isk just to spend it on means to earn more isk is pointless. If you ever have so much money in a game that it's spilling out your bunghole then I'd say it's time to start thinking about putting all that free time towards something actually meaningful. Bingo!
Being able to buy PLEX whenever you want is like being able to buy gold RL whenever you want, you have to be wealthy in order to do it and it means in the end any losses you have won't matter in the long run.

Well, you technically can never die (permanently) in EVE, so better rethink that one again :) Additionally, as you are also technically never without a ship of at least some kind, how on earth can you define 'wealth' in this context?

"Wealth" is subjective to the player in question.
For what I do (Die horribly in Thrashers and Rifters, mine and explore) I am wealthy with my measly 11 billion isk
For others who actively purchase capital ships and officer mods, that would not be remotely adequate nor sustainable
For a noob who uses T1 Merlins that would be an inexhaustible fountain of wealth.
As I said right above, it all depeneds on the activity and player in question The pie is a tautology |

For me it is plex subscription and growing wealth despite fooling around with your isk for stupid ideas. (like buying dresses on the market, train additional chars or testfly ships that surely get blown apart)
Also for me a wallet with less than 10 billion in it for timely investments feels unsecure, so I avoid falling under that. |

I agree that looking at just isk is misleading - some people spend isk almost at the rate they earn it, and as a result have far more ships and modules and less isk in the bank than, say, someone who hoards it for when they really need it. Personally my spending is limited by the skills I can put to use, and that directly controls the reserves in my wallet. So playstyle influences what can be considered "wealthy". What may be wealthy for a pirate may be small beans to a market trader who needs massive capital for investments. There is no absolute scale. You could give me a trillion isk and to be honest, I'd run out of things to spend it on due to my skill limitations and my conservative playstyle when it comes to ship combat. My cooking is like my lovemaking - fast, greasy, and unsatisfying. |

It all depends on what you do and what your goals are. Me personally I have about 28 bil in isk and some 4-5 more in assets, in the grand scheme of things that's nothing but it's wealthier than most. I don't care for it, it doesn't bother me and I'm not enticed to make more, especially not as I didn't work for it. I can buy all the things I realistically would like to use (I don't do bling factor) for a long long time.
To me, the second you stop having to bother about isk is the second you're wealthy. It's all relative really. Excellence is not a skill, it's an attitude.
