Hi
Once you train multi tasking and are able to lock on 6-7 targets, is there a way to prevent the locked target icons to be under the upper left corner where the system info is displayed?
Or is there a way to remove that system info display in the upper left corner? Or to make locked targets wrap on a second row?

The Target Icon's seem to have something to do with the Selected Object box. You could try and shrink that towards the right but make it taller so that the top of the over view doesn't impinge on the bottom of the Target Icon's.
I don't know of any way to move the system info.

A couple of ships can actually lock 10 targets, and more with a subdued sensor fitted. I would hope that target icons eventually wrap and start a new line. But AFAIK there's no way to force the icons into different places.

That I don't know - though they do shrink.
I'll fool with that a little and see if I can figure it out - but ... not right now ... sorry.
You can however shrink the whole box, just grab the left hand side and drag it to the right.

I see what you mean.
I was able to shrink the icons, but the dmg bars (shield-armor-hull) maintain the same overall width

I'll just point out that you don't need Multitasking to target 7 ships. Targeting gives you 5 and you have a base of 2.

Sure.
My question is when you have many locked-on targets and the last one on the left is under the system text info, how do you prevent that.

Moving the targets should help. Look around for the little icon used to move them. You can also change the direction of the icons.
For example moving the icons to stack vertically upwards by the overview will force them to start a new row after 3-5 targets. It'll clutter up the screen real bad, but at least you won't have anything on top of the system info area.

I've been trying but I can't find a "little icon used to move the locked-on targets".
Would you please elaborate on where this little icon is?

It's a small circle with 2 lines sticking out of it. Close to the locked target icons, probably behind the Selected Item box.

It's above and to the right of the rightmost targeted item. You won't see it if nothing's targeted. So target something, look for the tiny crosshairs, and drag it. You may have to right-click it to unlock it. I moved the top of my overview and selected items down, and moved the targets as far to the right as they can go. You can also switch the targets to line up vertically.

Ok that works, thanks.
That little icon is called the "targets origin". I didn't it existed until now.
I lowered my overview and my "selected item" window, I dragged the "targets origin" further to the right, near the right window edge, and now I clear the upper left corner system info.
