Will any of you be pushing CCP to do something about the pathetic excuse they have for 'customer service' ?

Well, the worst customer service experience I've had with CCP personally to date was getting the standard "thanks, we'll look into it" GM response to an isk seller I'd petitioned, but in German instead of English.
No billing issues, no reimbursement petitions gone wrong; I guess I can count myself lucky? *shrug*

yes you can.
One standard response for reimbursement is "blabla.... no server side evidence....."
We lost 6 dreads in one moment by desync or some weird network glitch. even the enemy confirmed our story.
no reimbursement. All i can say is, if there is no server side evidence - then because ccp set up the game that way that it leaves no trace when network hickups occur, why is that the customers problem?
- yes would i have the power to improve that system, id do it.

Giving out reimbursement for network lag will never happen as its so easy to fake.

I for one am particular interested in topics brought up that belong to the non-game mechanics genre.
This would be one such area.
If someone brings it up *constructivly* I'll definatly want to bring it to the CSM for voting. But simply saying "it sucks" aint gonna help much... Like I said, constructive ideas on how to improve things is what I'm looking for.

Slow, but never had problems with it. Had a handful of petitions only, though. Imho desynch is an issue they are aware of and if they can I'm sure they'll fix it along with lag etc.

When asked some time ago (29th April) my opinion on "THE" issue affecting Eve, one of the suggestions I put forward was improvement of Customer Service.
That post reply is here where I suggest a Service Level Agreement between CCP and their customers is drawn up so everyone knows exactly what to expect.
The idea needs fleshing out certainly, but I feel it's a valid issue and one that needs scrutinising. It will benefit everyone in the long term.

IMO: Would you need customer service if the CSM could bring forward enough logically structured player ideas to correctly balance and de-bug eve? (OFC ISD Still needed)

Hi, i have a question for the candidates:
What is your opinion on getting a skill queue for eve? there is a rather large thread concerning this here.
It would be great to know your views as it will affect my vote. All i want to know is...
What is your view on this, and what is ccp's? They don't seem to have answered us on the thread. If successful, maybe you can ask them for us? Quit tugging my mink! |

IIRC, historically CCP's position on this is that they want people to be logging in to change their skills. And generally speaking, I don't think that's too much to ask.
People place far too much value on their skill points IMO, particularly on the importance of training an entire skill in one go. With a bit of time management, anyone can easily get into the habit of chipping away at their shorter skills when they're online, and switching to a longer one again before they log off.
The only situation where I might have been welcoming of the idea of a limited skill queue would have been before the days of new players starting with 800K SP. Back then, most of your skills were just at 1s and 2s, so there were no longer training options. But since then, people can easily create characters with 3 or 4 levels in several skills, so even the newer players can learn to manage their time this way now as well.
