Could have been the Smash killboards if you're referring to a killmail.
Some killmails were being corrupted then copied out to the other boards. It was a bug that may have been fixed.
It was putting random pilots on the killmails and some random fittings. Showed some comedy fits like might have shown a rifter with a rokh style shield tank and a geddon armor tank.
Originally by: Kasheem Cetanes It is my personal opinion, that Intrepid Crossing vs SmashKill is equivalent to NORAD vs GOON SWARM (in 2006-7 ish).
We're not starting a campaign against Hydra.
I'm not a diplomat, but in my view this is entirely in response to a POS nap that was broken repeatedly by IRC/ED. If they're willing to offer some concessions I'm sure this can be worked out peacefully.

I brought enough caps to easily kill as many I as would lose.
Didn't look like you committed. Some of the caps outside the pos, some inside. They were picked off as they exited the pos.
Yes, lag was a problem.

Originally by: Farham By the time I actually called the order to go into siege, half my guys who were outside the shields said "I cant' it says im inside a shield" the other half couldn't see the primary or secondary.
Its one of the dangers in trying to fight at a friendly pos with lag. Lag isn't fun, but tactics must account for it.
As to numbers, you were jumping through a gate into a hostile gate camp with lots of support and caps. Never easy to jump in like that.

Makes sense when you realize that our support fleet, over a 100 strong jumped all at the same time into r-6, then our cyno went up and 50 caps jumped in and at the same time the order was given to undock and none of them could even load space......
The support was slaughtered, Then we popped some carriers at the station, then we hit the pos.
Jumping some 200 people through gates and cynos into a gate camp doesn't work so well.
Originally by: Farham
The tactics were sound, then our ability to execute went to hell and the rest is history.
Its called lag. A complicated strategy of multiple people doing multiple things in lag falls apart.
Originally by: Farham
we had numbers to easily cost you as much as it would cost us which was our goal.
Woulda worked for us. We'll take those odds any day for cap kills.

Originally by: Czech Lion you held 7 days the field by simply outnumbering us 3 :1.
Not 24/7. A few times you'd have more carriers outside station that we'd have battleships and yet we could freely gank a carrier that had wandered outside your pos.
Originally by: Czech Lion It was surely nice for you to smack 24h in our space
Because we were bored. Even when the numbers were roughly equal when we weren't in our prime time we couldn't get a fight.
We were mostly after ganks. We'd take an even fight or even outnumbered fight if its what we could get. We were in a system that was sometimes cyno jammed. You had the advantage in logistics, ease of deploying caps, ease of bringing up reinforcements.

Tactical withdrawal is very nice, as is the downplaying of your losses
We've lost ships? *yawn* Lets be honest. Good fight to IRC, Solar, and xxdeathxx. Those are the ones that did the fighting for you. Ethereal Dawn was hardly there.
Originally by: Czech Lion
Of course your 9 towers were there just to get a gf and you didnt want the space anyway. Iam seriously confused.
As mentioned before a few towers were anchored and left there for 5(?) days. Then only then were more towers anchored. For nearly a week the towers weren't threatened nor was there a decent fight. We'll certainly take the ganks however.

Especially the blobbing issue is really karma tbh. (and bull**** which proove the numbers above)
Not like we haven't been outnumbered before. This swings both ways. Nothing unusual.

Originally by: Jogyn Bobby Atlas; Please tell me when SPA or TRI logged of a fleet.
For individual pilots it was very common. For gangs of even 30-40 it wasn't unheard of. The general rule was whenever TRI would think themselves trapped they'd log. Often it would be the 15-20 minute variety, sometimes for a few hours.
When we'd see any TRI, the first call was for nanos/rapiers, and the second would be for probers. It was such an issue that I trained most of the probing skills to level 5 in response and made some good isk popping aggressed but logged tri members.
I can recall a fight with about 80(?) TRI in 5f that logged. I remember watching a few fights in Vale area where large gangs would log. Watched a few dozen tri log in the dead end system in Geminate by 020 a couple of times over a week leaving a scout in system.
It was fairly normal when they thought themselves to be trapped. Generally fleets didn't log, but it wasn't unheard of.
Originally by: Jogyn you dont like ... abusing game mechanics, and still do stuff like this which just makes you look like a hypocrite.
Its like nanos. You may not agree with something but when you can't do much about it its best to take advantage of the game mechanics.
We prefer not to log, but sometimes its the best choice. And with lag going downhill then logging was probably the only choice.

****ing off folks with lots of supercaps doesn't seem overly bright.
Grow a pair.

Said someone is currently having that stick shoved where the sun has never shone.....
Not like that we've ever lost a bunch of caps before. Or even a ton of bs/support while jumping into a system held by hostiles.

This is a *game*.
Playing Monopoly with you must be depressing. I prefer to have a bit of fun at myself and others expense. Have you not enjoyed the highs of negoitating a complex deal involving the railroad properties and a 6pack of beer? Or the lows of trading "favors" when landing on Boardwalk when broke?
