You may have carried the day, but you did not decisively strike any blows. At best, you reinforced a few POS's and killed a few ships. At the end of the day, you did very little to dislodge us from R-6. Yesterday was nothing more than a blip on the kill board. Most likely, any losses have already been made good. Carriers, Dreads, and Battleships can be had from nearly every corner of Eve.
You, on the other hand, cannot simply scour the local markets to replace your losses. Tell me, exactly how long does it take to build a Titan?

and with the bigass fleet the enemies had we stil managed to kill 2 ed towers before dt as the only thingh they did before dt was forming up and dd 1 sec before server goes down :O (nice timing there)
this war is funn alrdy and hopefully wil be funn for sometime :)

Yes, you won the fight for the field and the day but at the cost of a titan not just some ship - the ship that is all encompassing the greatest ship eve has to offer. Further, we made a tactical withdrawal from the field after the titan died knowing full well we had won our spoils - you may claim victory in this battle but this war you have entered is far from over.
Finally, one could contend this chapter of the war was decidedly a victory for our allies, in a 7 day period we have destroyed over 850 enemy ships, 11 dreads, 9 carriers, 1 mother ship and then the pinnacle of the r-6 campaign - a titan. We came into r-6 with no intent in conquest but to simply provoke an escalating campaign of carnage - our interests were never to take ED space but to molest it into a feeding ground which has been accomplished (ala bnx mk.II).
However I would be lying if I did not concede that after a week of complete dominance over the r-6 constellation and inflicting massive damage on ED infrastructure we were beginning to believe that we may just need to follow through and take the space if it was not going to be defended. The towers you find in r-6 are all those of sacrifice and staging as we scrambled to find someone to hold the space in the event we did need take it.

To further clarify: What attacked R-6 was a bored roaming gang. They didn't get a fight. So a pos or two was scrounged up for giggles. Pos mods were donated. The pos's were anchored as we thought that *must* get us a fight.
Nothing happened for 5(?) days. More pos's were anchored. Well worth it when we can logon and don't even need to leave system to find stuff to shoot =).

Have to give it to ED though they used to fight our gangs in r-6 for a good while in the past month (or 2?). I dont know what happened, maybe the fighting took its toll on ED and they didn't appear to be up for a fight anymore. Well what can you do to make people fight? You can contest their space.

Wow, your thread reading comprehension skills leave a lot to be desired. Your implication is that we don't care about the loss, which has been addressed. We're not heartbroken about it, nor is there much upset about it. It is a large asset that died doing what it is (arguably) supposed to do. You might as well cry over spilled milk. We would prefer not to lose such things, but **** happens; we're not going to have an aneurysm over it.
We post a lot because a lot of us honestly find it amusing. Remember folks, you can find humor in many things even if you would have preferred it not to happen in the first place!
