It's been a while now that CSM candidates are campaigning, and they have voiced their opinions on a wide array of matters.
Since these distinguished players think high enough of themselves to run as candidates, maybe they could show the gallantry of publishing their API key so the populace may consult the current stand of their skill tree ?
You see, some candidates have resorted to very vocal positions on specific subjects, and after all, one option for voters to assess if a given candidate knows what he's talking about, is to check if said candidate enjoys the related skills ingame.
Of course, since any individual can use as many accounts he pays for, candidates should be allowed to publish the API's related to their other accounts when relevant.
To tell the truth, the peeps I'm the most interested in are the candidates who will choose NOT to publish their API keys. Then anyone with intact cognitive abilities can draw his own conclusions...

Go back a few pages this was already requested in the form of in-eve skills. Many candidates have given that out

Well, the only one I found was a stupid thread asking for full API keys, and a goggle search did not bring any CSM-candidates API KEY thread either.
So you're welcome to link here the thread you're talking about.

Well going to be a big "nope" from me on the question. I might well be a CSM candidate but I'm also a player of the game of Eve online and I don't want opponents in pvp situations to know anything about my character's skills that I don't choose to tell them.
For what its worth though, I do fly ships of all 4 races from frigates to recons to hacs to command cruisers and battleships and have wide experience in a variety of conflict environments. Doesn't need api keys to confirm this - just have a look at the Star Fraction public killboard.
Hope this helps.

same here. you wont find me in in-eve -and if youre not interested enough to dig up the thread where i listed my skill details, then i am sorry.
i also will not disclose all my alts in public for the same reasons as jade stated above.
we dont even know IF we are elected, and yet again someone expects us do accept ingame disadvantages just because "we think high enough" to apply for this unpaid and undoubtful work intense voluntariat.
time for a realitycheck. people can push their skills up to max out dread and titan skills w/o ever having flown one. so what does that tell you?
only that someone had enough cash and not enough war decs - so he could fly around with full set of implants all of the time? who knows, i certainly dont.

As I also stated in the post, that I don't want to release my API key. I listed all my alts, that should suffice.
I don't want people to check my API, and get a "insta-win" button by just doing business in the same way as I do. That is just naive to do, thinking people will think better of you, if you are that stupid.

You don't need someone's API key to see if they know what they are talking about or not. These people will continue to play not only be public figures.
