Edited by: Bid Up on 30/05/2008 14:50:38 Edited by: Bid Up on 30/05/2008 14:44:46 Hey folks, today I will be hosting a game of deal or no deal in eve for prizes of up to 100mil isk, the event will be held in Dodixie, planet 7 at 20:00 GMT tonight
There are 12 boxes's with the following sums:
1 isk 1,000 isk 10,000 isk 100,000 isk 300,000 isk 500,000 isk 1 mil isk 5 mil isk 10 mil isk 20 mil isk 50 mil isk 100 mil isk
It will cost you 3mil to enter as a contestant, and I am also looking for a banker who is willing to test his luck against the boxes! (The banker must have his own supply of isk to offer the contestants). Okay heres how it will work:
1. I get 12 contestants who will meet in dod planet 7
2. Each contestant approches a container of their choice
3. Each container has a bookmark which states a sum of money specified
4. One contestant is chosen to play Deal or no deal using a random number generator (http://www.mdani.demon.co.uk/para/random.htm)
5. The other contestants will have a chance at playing in other games
6. Every 3 box's selected, the banker gets the chance to offer the contestant a certain amount of isk for his container
7. The contestant can either choose to deal at the bankers offer, or play on, after the final offer once the 9th box has been opend, the contestant must play until the end, and will have 1 chance at swapping his box for the other on the last turn
8. If the player chooses to keep his box, the sum of money stated in the box will then be given to the player
9. Each box is set with a password which I will give upon request of the box being opened during the game, so no peaking, and NO ALTS please :)
To enter tonights game drop the character 'Bid Up' 3mil, once I have 12 contestants, any money given after will be refunded
If your confused on what the hell deal or no deal is, heres a link the the RL game rules, a lil different but the same principle:

I'd be willing to bank if you want. I've run games like this before in other games. I'd like you to clarify the rules first so I could clearly understand my role in being a banker. Join Perfect Tyranny. |

Edited by: Segeros Fang on 04/06/2008 11:21:19 Sounds very interesting, But I have a question, if it only costs 3 mill to play and theres only 12 boxes (so 12 people playing), well lets do that math:
3 * 12 = 36 mill
Ok, but the total payout if no one accepts the bankers offer is 189,911,001.000 (or 189.9mill) So it seams to me that you would loose a lot of isk on this, so how do you intend to make money by doing this?
Even if the people accepted the bankers offer, don't you have to pay the banker the sum in the box?
edit: seems I'm a day to late any way.
also just noticed you said to join a channel, well, I'll still leave these questions here any way. Also if you are still reading this, I would just like to let you know you have wasted about 6 or so seconds reading this, 9ish now. |

Don't allow Nexus to be your banker. He'll chicken out if the sums become too high.
