Who are PIE?
PIE Inc. was formed on the very first day of Eve, and is the third oldest surviving corporation on Tranquility.
From day one we have supporters of the Amarr Empire through thick and thin, and have for the vast majority of that time been fighting multiple wars against not only Minmatar groups but also other unsavoury types. Past enemies include such well-known PvP outfits as KIA, Omniscient Order and Star Fraction.
We are primarily based in Amarr Empire space, but we maintain good relations with the CVA and have full access to Providence. As such, PIE members regularly engage in combat in high-sec, low-sec and 0.0.
Our past achievements include the escort of an Imperial Apocalypse through a blockade, helping out the Speakers of Truth and playing a role in the capture of two Ushra'Khan outposts in Providence.
We are now preparing for faction warfare.
What does PIE require?
We are now recruiting new members to join us in fighting for the Empire during the forthcoming faction war.
We have two Amarr-only policies - namely that we only accept pilots from the Amarr, Ni-Kunni and Khanid bloodlines into ranks, and we only fly Amarrian ships.
Vagabond-flying Caldarians need not apply!
Whilst we accept characters as young as two weeks old, our members are always likely to be shot at by our many enemies and are expected to get involved in PvP.
Our members must also accept our policies regarding fair play.
Although we have T1 corp-ship programme and can offer certain T2 ships to our members at a discounted price, our pilots are expected to have their own ways of earning ISK.

Edited by: Dau Imperius on 04/06/2008 01:39:26 PIE is not an alliance, it's a corporation. And one I do hope people sign up for if they are taking part in the Amarr FW. In Imperial Amarr: Information corrects you.

Yes, I'm fully aware of that
We're currently in a one-corp alliance, but that's relatively easy to change between now and next Tuesday.

Throwing the alliance to a holder corp is a small price to pay for being able to charge blindly into the republican forces yelling Amarr Victor.

Even on Singularity, PIE was there, bringing the heat to the Minmatar. PIE elements assisted in capturing half a dozen Matari systems and claiming them for the Amarr Empire. Do you think you have what it takes to join the most noble, most loyal, most beloved of the Amarrian paramilitaries? If so, apply today!

Do you want to feel part of something bigger then yourself, something bright and glorious? Do you want to serve a cause? Some divine goal that transcends your pitiful existance of just trying to survive day by day in God's world?
Do you want to become part of something that has been around for ages and has earned itself respect from all its enemies? The hard way.
Do you want to sacrifice your life and crew for the glory of God's Empire, over and over again?
Do you want to face the wrath of Ushra'Khan, Elecus Matari and the Faction militias?
Do you think you have the gonads for that?
...then join PIE.

Speaking as a Vagabond-flying race-traitor in a Caldari corp, I've got to give PIE at least two thumbs up. If you're looking for an Amarrian corporation with a heavy RP presence and your choice of enemies at any given time, you couldn't do any better than these folks.

What about 32m sp half-caldarian?. I have amarr BS lvl 5, HAC lvl 5, maxed out engineering skills, maxed out mechanic skills, maxed out gunnery skills - all lasers ofc, AVU5. Amarr Empire standing: 5.24
Hell I love amarr ships so much, I can even fly providence!
So the fact that my mother was caldarian merchant is enough for you to not even consider me as a recrut?!
Well I hope you find what you seek. Good luck.

Unfortunately, we're so full of divine zeal, admitting someone of the lesser races would bring them too close to God too quickly, thereby causing them to implode with joy.
We do not want that ;)
Seriously, we are a corp based on tradition, with longstanding ties to official Amarr doctrines which we are immensely proud of. Thats not going to change, but there are plenty Amarr aligned corps and alliances who accept all races into their ranks.
Good luck! ----------------------------------------------

Edited by: Chiefs Fan on 13/06/2008 09:36:29 next question, since youre role playing amarr race. do you force them all to pilot amarr ships only? if so that would kinda be a set back in fw fleet ops, and if you fleet up with non-corp peeps in the amarr militia theyre bound to be of other races and ships..

Yes we restrict our members' choice of ships to those based on Amarr hulls. This includes the Khanid line of hulls.
We have done this for 5 years now, and it has not always been easy facing enemies who tanked specifically against EM/THERM coupled with Radar jammers, but in many ways specialization weighs up for much of that. The inclusion of a revamped Khanid line of ships makes this more balanced, and a two edged blade for the enemy who foolishly(?) decides to race tank us.
Neither can we make the choices of which ships to pilot for the other Amarr aligned organisations out there who we regularily fly alongside, but we can try to lead by example. We have no problems flying in a mixed race gang, as long as everyone involved fight for the Empire :) |

Not at all, but we do require you to be more than 14 days old obviously.
We do have a zeal limit however, which means every member is expected to agree to hop in an Inquisitor frigate and charge whatever blob we can find regardless of size ;) ----------------------------------------------

I heartily endorse this product and/or service. If you have a yearning to be a dirtbag slaver scum and get into FW, these are the guys to fly with.
I'm disappointed that we were omitted from your list of enemies, though...

Not sure how to answer really. The level of RP you do, and how involved you are in it, is up to yourself. The most important part is respecting the rules of the corporation. ----------------------------------------------

I too would add my name to Spurious in requesting the name of a contact who is an active PIE member during the GMT+8 (or thereabouts) timezone. Mainly due to asking questions about the extent of activity of Aus/NZ/Oceanic players. |
