Well guys, it's that time of the year again. Given the way patches normally go down, it might be wise to set a long skill training before the patch happens. So my question is simple: What will YOU be training?
I'm personally thinking either AWU V, or BS V... Although maybe I'll do Warp Drive Operation V just to get me started on my way to capital ships...
Oh yeah, and be sure to keep a FIRM grip on your boot.ini

My boot.ini doesn't work anyway; my computer is immune. ;) As for skills, I haven't decided. Small/Medium Pulse/Beam Laser Specialization V. One of them. :(

Well obviously something really short - betting on an early server start if at all possible. I will then have my "OMG Can't CCP even do a simple upgrade" post ready typed and posted as soon as I can.
........well that or one of the many IV or V's I have waiting for a rainy day: Small Autocannon specialization IV sounds good.

I am training for 10 things at same time, and they basicly all are finished just before patch deployement. Guess i pick a random support/gunnery skill i got on lvl 4 and start training it to lvl 5.

Mining Barg V.... and im also lining up "Patience V" just incase something happens to make the 'patch' take longer than 15 days heh.... (from today) and i ALWAYS wait a day or two after a major patch just incase something fudges up... (thats what saved me from the boot.ini crap =D i didnt patch till 2 days later so i missed all the carnage.

12 days 10 hours left on BC 5 so probably that, I have no idea when the FW downtime is anyway. Also need to get Gallente cruiser 5 as well and that be taking 10 days too.
Best part is I have no intention on flying T2 ships either (too poor).

Overseas Travel 4 - it's a 2 week skill for me.
Oh, and I trained Minnie BS 4 this week so that I'd have BS 5 ready for the time off.
Once I finish that I'll finally be able to say that I can fly ANY T1 ship, including the Corvus & Storm (or whatever they're called these days).
Also I have a date with my exploration JC when I get on after the patch to go see Black Rise.
Can't wait too long with unvisited systems...
And finally ... You still have a boot.ini? That's so last OS.

I am better prepared for this patch... Boot.ini Protection lvl 5 will finnish in 2 hours.
25% chanse that boot.ini and other vital files are secure per level.
too bad i didnt have that trained last patch.

The same skill I've been training for the past month: Skirmish Warfare Specialist V.
1 days, 12 hours, 9 minutes, 19 seconds
Looks like it will finish about the same time the maintenance period is ending. After such a long train, I don't really care much if I lose a few hours because maintenance went overtime, so long as mindlinks are still working post-patch.
