Edited by: Elaron on 08/12/2008 19:15:21 There's an nVidia "The Way It's Meant to be Played" logo on the Trinity and Empyrean Age expansion features pages. nVidia also co-sponsored and presented at the 2007 and 2008 FanFests.
Which GPU vendor do you think CCP works more closely with?

Do you think it's being deliberately ignored? Malice rather than incompetence? If so then perhaps trying to engage the CSM on your side or perhaps getting in touch with Internal Affairs might be your best routes.

Originally by: Lyria Skydancer Where and how do I do this? I' not too familiar with all that.
The CSM, perhaps talking to one of the current representatives or posting a thread in the Assembly Hall.
For Internal Affairs email [email protected], but I'd probably only consider getting in touch with them if you really think that there is malicious intent behind ignoring the ATI graphics problems.
But before doing any of that you might want to consider dropping by SiSi and seeing if you can catch the attention of one of the devs there.

Another potential line of attack is for people suffering from this issue to submit a Catalyst Crew Feedback form.
Don't forget to link this thread in point 19.

Unless something critical to CCP comes up, I doubt we'll see another client patch before the March 10th expansion.

Once again, CCP has said that the March 10 expansion should have a new effects system. With that information, it can be deduced that CCP are not going to spend development resources to fix an issue in the old effects system. I'm pretty sure there won't be any client graphics changes at all before March 10, as there is nothing that completely breaks the game for a large number of players - large being defined as several thousand, not a few dozen as is probably the case with this issue. This opinion is reinforced by CCP's past history of very slow action to fix graphical glitches
The Premium Lite and particle effect changes may fix your problem, but there's no way of knowing for sure until they turn up on SiSi. Until then, though, I suspect that you're going to have to be patient.
Bumping this thread daily will accomplish nothing but feeding your collective resentment, with a side order of potential forum warnings and the possible locking of this thread as being no longer constructive.

Any of you lot seen if this still happens with the new effects that are apparently on SiSi?

Originally by: Molly Mayhem Meh, the premium client is crashing again at gates. The classic client isn't.
Good thing we're getting rid of the classic client in 3 weeks. /sarcasm
How about - when SiSi is up - going onto the test server and seeing if it's still there? Then you'll know whether to really ***** or not!
