It's March 13th, i.e. one hour from now, i.e. exact same patch for which those patchnotes are.
So it seems CCP forgot to add the other 47 sites.
Or they added 3 different sites, but since same site can appear in multiple places that makes it 50 total.

This is the first time to my knowledge that they've ever mentioned how many sites are in circulation at any one timeGǪ

Oh I see what you mean.
Well, those features are defiantly listed under Crucible 1.5, not Crucible as a whole... still could be an over sight.
I think its more likley to be some over optimistic BS that will be explained as a mis-communication. its meant to be 5 new sites, but they couldnt manage that in time and we got 3.

Hey to be fair they added new DED sites to null first, then low, and now finally high :P
But yeah, the risk vs. reward could use a lot of attention, and that's without taking into account static plexes. |

I'm all up for more 2/10 tbh,
In high-sec, as a new player you either got running missions, or mining. Exploration has never really be a viable 3'rd career path.
But just 3 more sites.... srsly guys, cant beleive vets are pissing and moaning about that.
if it were 50 new 2/10's... now that would be something to get excited about |

Only 7/10s were added to null for every race and 8/10 for races that didn't have them(bloods and sansha?)
I wonder if those 8/10s are as bad as guristas one and only drop box in 50% of the cases(54/112 trip reports saved on our wiki) |

So looking at that Wiki page I suppose we can conclude one of two things
a] Its a typo, there arnt 50 New sites at all
b] Its as Tippia said, 50 more sites spawned at any given time
Either way, very disappointing. |

The features page says "over 50 new.." which could also mean that 16-19 of each new 2/10 are now in play.

It doesnt say "new" it just says "50 sites have been added"
it also says "bringing an array of new high-end modules"
but surly the 'high-end' modules wont be in 2/10 sites!
The more I read that paragraph the easier I find comparing it to the excrement of a bull. |

We released Crucible 1.5 with three new DED sites, however, in the previous months over 50 sites have been added, fixed or changed.
